Enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Ocean front and pool view was amazing. I would recommend staying at the Sand Dunes again. The staff was very friendly and checking in was fast and easy. I Love this place.

The parking leaves a lot to be desired, but I was always able to find a spot, just not to close. I have handicap plates but there were no handicap spots. Everything else was really great. The staff on checkin and checkout were very nice and polite. Every time we passed by during the week they always greeted us. The Beachfront Restaraunt was absolutely FABULOUS. Those are the best fries we've had in a long time and the rest of the food was great. The manager was so kind and gave us a free dessert for our 50th Anniversary. The staff was quick with the orders and they were cheerful and very nice. The drinks were terrific from the bar. We would definitely recommend the Sand Dunes and the Beachfront. You won't be sorry. We will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone there.

I had to call security numerous times about fights in hallways. Room was never cleaned. BLACK MOLD in kitchen area. Room was dirty and unsafe. Light bulbs were out. Had to call three times just to get fresh towels.

Nicer than expected after reading the reviews but still did see one bug, our floors were disgusting and made our socks black. They did not offer extra towels, and our phone in the room did not work so we had no access to the front desk from our room. The distance to the beach was nice, as well as Myrtle Beach was 10 mins away so that was nice. Indoor pool was nice but it is very loud inside due to fans, but the views to the ocean from inside were nice. There was also a dirty towel in our bathroom when we first checked in which means they missed it when cleaning and that was pretty gross. It did the job though and we did have a full fridge, stove and microwave, as well as a couch and balcony with a good amount of space. Two large TVs that worked and some spots for food. It was only a little loud being that we were there during spring break so many other kids were also there, but that’s usually a given!

While the property may have been a bit older, I must say that the ocean view and the rate were truly fantastic. The location is incredibly convenient, with shops within walking distance, making it easy to pick up what you need. The beach itself was absolutely lovely. Just a small suggestion for future guests: it would be wise to bring your own beach towels and any necessities you might need for your beach day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Very close to the beach with great views. Property is a little outdated and could use some updates. Condo was cleaned but needs updates as well. No extra blankets, condiments, or outdoor extras to be able to use on the beach such as chairs, towels, etc. We were introduced to the Palmetto Bug aka American cockroach at the restaurant the evening we arrived. Did not see anymore the rest of the stay. Overall had a great stay with decent weather

I will avoid at all costs

We stayed here last summer and the place is old and run down, the AC unit was leaking through the flooring so when you walked water was coming out of the floor. Front desk didn’t care. Gave them another chance and stayed here a couple weeks ago. They did renovations which are basically covering up old stuff with cheap new stuff. Not making repairs!! I had a “renovated” room and the HVAC system would not work because the plug kept coming from the wall. They sent engineers to my room who said the plug wouldn’t stay into the outlet because it wasn’t lined up correctly from when they put new flooring down they just put it directly over the old flooring so now the outlet isn’t lined up. The front office called me and said nothing they could do about me not having any heat/air because they were sold out for the weekend. They didn’t offer any kind of reimbursement or an extra night stay for a future stay, nothing at all. Just “it is what it is”. The parking garage is so small you can literally only have one car driving through at a time. The only good thing was the bed, the new bed was quite comfortable but I won’t be staying here ever again.

Room was gross when I arrived, bathroom sink didn’t drain and there was brown stuff on the towels and the wall. Maintenance was not able to come up that night, and the girls counter told me she couldn’t do anything and moving me to another room would be too much of a hassle. She then told me maintenance would be there early in the morning and they never showed up so I checked out and went somewhere else because this place was gross

The rooms were dirty, and the indoor pool in the building we were in was nasty and cold for it to be an indoor pool. The communication on how to get to our room and parking garage was awful and there were no signs on where to enter from the parking garage. The hotel clerk did walk us over but when we questioned her instructions another clerk was rude about it. Most likely will not stay here again. The water park looked interesting and the arcade was decent but the soap scum on the shower door and black dirt all over the room overrides all the amenities for me.
