The stay here was amazing. I have only 4 complaints first one was hair was all over my bathroom floor, second the push button to turn the shower to the faucet in the tub was stuck and would not push in, so I had to run water in the tub for my 7 year old from the shower and that took forever. Third no dust pan in the kitchen. 4 the air was not getting cold but, I called maintenance and the guy came right on and fixed it. Overall the stay was excellent and those just were minor things. I will be staying here next year as well which will be my third year. I highly highly recommend the Grand Palms Resort.

The resort is OVERWHELMING to say the least; it's a large resort with multiple places that are also close to houses that are for non-resort families. It's all a bit chaotic. The pictures need to be updated for sure to match what is actually on site. The indoor pool itself needs updated, the arcade as well. The pictures do match what is provided. The suite my family stayed in dated as well. I informed the resort that the handle on one of the toilets is barely hanging on. The window in the kitchen is so lose I was fearful that anyone could just climb through. Our last night as well a roach appeared from under the stove due to us cooking and when I informed the desk she didn't show any empathy, just that it was a Palmetto bug - when you research this bug it's a cockroach. My family feared we may have brought something back with us because of this. The need to update signs is crucial as well. I understand it rains there a lot. But to be bereted like children because we couldn't see the sign that the pool was closed after raining was uncalled for. But the very next day while it was actively raining and thundering the outdoor pool, kiddie pool & lazy river were full of people. So, implementing the rules and better signage (the closed sign was small and hung to side of the pool door) consistently would provide a better experience as well. I do not think I would recommend this resort unless things were updated.

My family loved staying at Grand Palms. They had so much fun in the pools. However, this is a timeshare and they try and get you to do a 90 minute presentation in exchange for tickets... just be aware.

We went as a family of 4 and rented the 2 bedroom condo. The set-up was a king room on the main floor and 2 doubles in the upstairs loft. the set up was sizable and preferred to a traditional room, but would have preferred a door on the upstairs bedroom. Thin walls make it tricky for adults to navigate the main level without waking the children upstairs. Also, the loft doesnt allow for window coverings so the room gets very bright early. Not a ding on the property, but something to be aware of when booking. 2 sets of washer/dryer was very convenient. Be advised, there were no elevators and the condo we booked was located on the 2nd floor of steep steps with another large staircase in the condo. Overall the lodging was lovely. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner and body wash. The ammenities were a bit lacking when compared to other Wyndham properties. There are 3 pools. The lazy river and splash pad in 1 area. The most disgusting looking indoor pool that made me want a shower just from looking at it. And the main pool. No bells and whistles at this pool, but comfortable and convenient to most of the buildings. The food at the pool was family friendly and not terribly overpriced. There were some activities planned every day, but maybe only one or two per day. Significantly less than expected for a family resort. All in all, it's a nice, quiet, family appropriate place away from the chaos of Myrtle, but still close to the fun. It needs some updates in the amenities, but it's f

There should a person to monitor near the pools esp the lazy pool.I saw 2 women scratching their legs and sitting in the hot pool I couldn't get into it after seeing it and also asked my family to come out..
