Lovely room appointments. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and linens. The restaurant, lobby and hallways were beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only negative was torn curtains that had fallen apart from apparent sun exposure and bathing water was warm, but not hot. We will definitely visit again.

This was BEAUTIFUL and HISTORIC! The breakfast is meager but, I eat a VERY LIGHT, if at all breakfast anyway. I enjoyed the GORGEOUS HOTEL, VERY CLEAN ROOM, EXTREMELY FRIENDLY STAFF and quaint town!

The room was very clean, the receptionist was efficient and welcoming, the salads we purchased at the front desk were fresh and delicious, and having a free shuttle bus to and from the Niswonger Center was a great convenience.

I wish I had known I would have been placed in an adjoining room. As a solo female traveler, this was concerning for me. The front desk staff tried to resolve this issue, but all available rooms were adjoining rooms. I was also disappointed that Brumley's was not open on a Monday evening.

Loved the old hotel, only issue the dinning room not open Sun and Mon when we were there. The breakfast was a coupon for $7.00 off and a coffee and sweets place.
