Took my family here, have stayed at different properties under the same name. Whole place smells like chemicals. They are building an elevator but be prepared to carry the kids, luggage, and stroller all at once up the steps! Room was nicely refurbished but that was short lived, my wife set out 8 month old on the bed who started screaming. We ended up finding goat head stickers in the sheet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and couldn’t wait to get outta there. Ended up staying one night and leaving early next morning.

This hotel was so clean, newly renovated, smelled new, the staff was so pleasant from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was good. The rooms were the best! Beds were so comfortable, nice big firm plush mattresses. I would hands down recommend this hotel. Only thing, the elevator was not up and running yet but it was no big deal because of all the other amazing things.

The property is undergoing a massive change right now. Going from Staywise to Best Western (the hotel sign has already changed!). The hotel name should be changed in Expedia, Hotel.com , etc. as it was extremely confusing showing up to a hotel with a different name and constructing materials outside. I thought the hotel was closed. The lobby, hallway and stairway were full of debris dirty which is to be expected. Performing a slight cleanup at the end of the work shift may make the area a little more presentable and keep visitor from dragging debris around on their shoes. The breakfast and staff were great. The room was updated and quiet.

Under renovation but they were off duty the hours we stayed. Wonderful hot breakfast! Super comfy beds and pillows! Very accommodating you lady. Computer gave her a fit, but she worked around it and got us checked in!!! We will be back as long as the price is reasonable like Tuesday night!

Property is in the process of remodeling as part of a change to affiliation with Best Western as a result some of the public areas were torn up. I consider this a positive for the future of their facilities and should improve their service offering. Otherwise, the facility was clean and serviceable. I would probably stay there again if in Montrose.

The staff are very kind and helpful. They go above and beyond to assist you and help with anything you need, including recommendations and directions. (We have never been to this state before.) The rooms are very clean. The breakfast foods and drinks are fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying overnight or staying for 10 nights like we did.

My room, itself, was very new & clean! However, the property was under construction and I had to walk/carry stuff upstairs, thru construction, sawdust everywhere, uneven flooring, dangling wires... They could have informed me, or offered help/discount, or had that end blocked off. It was dangerous & filthy! Once that's all done, Im sure itll be great!

was not warned would be walking into a dust storm in lobby when booking, was not given room I booked, I was given a much less desireble room that did not match photo, shower drain was clogged and design was set up to make a smelly mess, very bad drain design.. was not told ahead would have to pay deposit. hotel water pressure just enough, any lower and would not be okay
