3:00 check-in was inconveniently delayed until 4:30 and given a handicapped room instead of requested room. No light bulb in lamp, no coffee in room

This location is very old and in need of repairs and cleaning. When we finally got the patio slider door open, there were spider webs everywhere, the door was filthy, the railing was filled with spider webs, no chairs, great view of the valley but no way to sit out there and enjoy it. We also had a very difficult time getting the door shut. The restaurant was closed as was a nearby Sherries, however down town had great options for dinning.

After check in we made our way outside and down to our room. The first thing that stood out were signs saying use key card for entry but there was no lock on the door. As we made are way down to the room the door was proped open with the lock latch keeping it open and the light and fan running in the bathroom. I didnt know if this was common practice but no other doors were proped open. As I turned around there were some type of water stain streaked accross the door. I then opened the shades and the glass dirty. When I went to use the bathroom the toilet seat was loose. We were in there for a few minutes probably trying to convince ourselves to stay but we decided to leave. This is the first time I ever left a hotel so in my mind I couldn't cancel day of so we went up the street to the Holiday in Express. The next morning I thought I should let the staff know my experiance. The manager said I should have let them know yesterday but since I booked through a third party website they would of had to had 24 hours notice anyway to cancel. I informed the manger I am letting her know now as a courtesy because I had never left a hotel. The only accomidation that was offer was a $25 credit on the bill. I have know doubt the staff work hard and this could have been a one off experiance. I chose this hotel because of many of the positive reviews but I would not recommend stay here at this time.

Meh, wouldn’t stop here again

One room was clean, the other had a bathroom with orange spots on the walls and ceiling. The toilet leaned to the side which was good for some laughs. There was a snake at the entry door, not a fan. The restaurant was closed down. It was ok, but not great. The beds were clean and actually comfortable.

Everything was beautiful and clean. I will stay there again. However, the bed in our room was the worst mattress I have ever slept on. It was broken down on the sides and had big lumps toward the middle. One other minor thing, I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have comforters. The desk provided extra blankets but they were stiff and scratchy.

Nice clean room, no upgrades as seen in other older places. No coffee pot in rooms, but spacious with a beautiful view. Needs new shower head but room is clean and beds were comfortable.

Its always good at the Pendleton Red Lion. Nice lobby. Comfy bed, balcony. Got to enjoy the outdoor pool this last visit. Appreciate the in-room hair dryer & the noon check-out.

We had to wait over an hour for our room and we didn't arrive until an hour after check-in. We were told our room wasn't ready, but it was still dirty. The TV console hadn't been dusted in quite a while. Our reservation was for 2 nights, but we only had two towels. We will not be back.

Clean rooms and VERY comfortable bed and staff was friendly. Fridge and microwave in the room but no coffee maker. The website says there is a restaurant and lounge but both were closed so that should be noted when making the reservation.

Their ad said they had dining and bar and it was totally closedown and the TV shut down do to their provider service which was on their way out to fix it. The carpet in the room was dirty and there was some mold around the bathtub soap holder. The folks running the hotel were great .
