Gym was below par. Machines broken. The room smelled terrible. Really bad mildew odor. If I was staying more than 1 night, I would have asked for a different room. The hall ways and ceilings need serious updates. When checking in there was no one at the desk. I waited about 10 minutes for the person to come to the desk (with a plate of food in her hands).

The property is fine, if a little overpriced for what it is. I arrived at 12:30pm, a bit earlier than the stated check in time of 3pm. The clerk said the room would be cleaned and ready by 1pm. I came back at 1:30pm, still no room. I waited in the lobby until 2 -- and watched as other guests arrived and were given rooms. Now, I don't know what kinds of rooms they were getting, and I realize I was early, but it feels like check in could've been smoother and more equitable.

This was a very nice hotel without being extravagant. The rooms were cute, the balcony/seating deck was a great bonus. Pool was clean and nice, as well as the fitness room. And the free breakfast was good. That plus friendly and helpful staff made us decide to stay a 2nd night.

Had a problem with ants in bathroom and by bed area near night stand. Told the staff member who came out with some bug pesticide and sprayed. Problem by night stand continued. We left the next day not wanting to stay there with this problem
