This home has over 200+ fantastic guest reviews. It offers the best location in Michigan City! You'll have plenty of space to enjoy all that Michigan City has to offer. Only a few barefoot steps to the sandy path and the best beach on Lake Michigan. You're just up the street from Washington Park Zoo and the Oasis Splash Pad, as well as Washington Park, the Amphitheater, and the Marina. This house sleeps up to 10 with 3 bedrooms - two with queen beds and one with twin bunk over double bed with a trundle. There is a twin size foldout couch in the living room. There is also a foldout queen couch in the basement. Plus an additional twin over double bunk bed with trundle in the basement. There are two full bathrooms with modern amenities. With hardwood floors throughout, the sunroom/living room and the bright, sunny kitchen provide plenty of space to enjoy quality family time. There is an outdoor patio with gas grill (propane provided) and charcoal grill for grilling and hanging out. Side yard has ample space for games and relaxing after a day at the beach. And, after the sun goes down, enjoy sitting around the fire pit (firewood provided) under the stars or head indoors and play a game of pool or air hockey. Any time of day, relax on the front deck and soak in some sun. We provide firewood for the fire pit. WIFI throughout. Smart TVs are ready for you to log into your streaming service. For traditional fun, there are books, board games and a pool/air hockey table to enjoy when you're not on the beach or out and about exploring the area. The house has central air conditioning and also features beautiful screened windows. Plenty of street and driveway parking is available for several cars. Three mountain bikes are provided for touring the area as well. Families with children will appreciate the proximity to the beach and side yard to play. Dogs are welcome, with owner approval and additional deposit. LaPorte County Parks, Indiana Dunes State Park and Friendship Gardens all welcome dog walking. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, pots and pans and necessities available to create a gourmet meal - just bring your groceries. The additional features to help make your stay easier are included - coffee maker/filters, Keurig, toaster, crock pot, blender. Bath towels, linens, and beach towels are provided. The basement laundry room has washer and dryer. Dish soap, hand soap, and paper towels are also available. To make your beach visit easier, beach chairs, a wagon, life jackets, toys and a cooler are provided. Aside from the beautiful beach, there is so much to see and do in Michigan City including the Lighthouse Outlet Mall, Blue Chip Casino, weekly Saturday farmers' markets all summer, concerts in the park, Friendship Gardens, Indiana Dunes National Park, U-pick orchards as well as the historic Old Lighthouse Museum and the Barker Mansion. Plenty of golf, bike trails, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and other attractions await! Cyclists will enjoy the newly extended Singing Sands bike trail through the city from the Calumet Trail. You can ride from the Indiana Dunes to Memorial Park. Owners are flexible for bookings and look forward to sharing this wonderful home for the perfect beach getaway!

Excellent stay, clean home, very roomy, homey and just adorable, full of character and personality. We enjoyed the pool table and air hockey, the nephews and nieces loved all the kids board games. The kitchen is well-stocked with all you need to prepare meals- just pick up your own food. The kitchen table that seats 7 was great for dining and game night. A drip coffee maker and keurig were supplied, as were filters for drip and k cups for keurig. The bed was comfortable, extra pillows and blankets were available. A small fan was available for use, as there are no ceiling fans. The washer and dryer (with pods and dryer sheets) came in handy to wash clothing and towels and washcloths. We had no complaints. It met our expectations and needs, and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Great house very close to the beach. Perfect for a getaway. The house was very clean, and accommodations were perfect (3 adults, no children for us though the two sets of bunk beds would nicely accommodate families). I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

The home was lovely. Well equipped, and quite comfortable. Night lights were even provided in strategic locations, which are always appreciated. The location was ideal, with a short walk to the beach. The sandy trail even had a cover for ease in walking, especially when carrying beach equipment that was also provided.The owners were very responsive to our questions, and flexible when we needed to adjust our original dates of occupancy.And finally, we --and our little Maltipoo--were MOST appreciative of the "Pet Friendly" accomodations!Overall, we would highly recommend this home and location!

Excellent location. Very close to the beach. Beach is clean and not crowded. We went in July and the weather and water were perfect. It is very close to the zoo about 5 min drive or less and the zoo is actually amazing. The house was very convenient with lots of appliances. One recommendation was to add a bathroom shower hose in the main bathroom. We had a great time and would recommend this house to our friends.

We love Michigan City and have rented several houses over the years in the Sheridan Beach neighborhood -- this house will go down as a favorite! Very clean and plenty of room for the nine of us. We enjoyed all the extras – like beach chairs, cornhole boards, fire pit, etc. One minute walk to the beach. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great weekend stay

A short drive from chicago but a perfect escape from the city. Great property for a quick trip with family and our dog to enjoy walks on the beach and s’mores in the backyard. The pool table and air hockey have the teens plenty to do! Would stay here again!
