The staff were great. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The pool was excellent! The only downside was the air conditioner in our room was really loud.

I didn’t like the door lock , locked us out if the room late at night and we needed to wait for maintenance to show up two hours later. my kids were tired of being in the pool, hungry, and all of our belongings were locked in the room. we had to wait and sit in the lobby for over two hours for the door to be open. then Sunday morning we were told we couldn’t get in the pool because at 11 o’clock. They decided to pour chemicals into the pool.

When we arrive we were greeted by the front desk receptionist and she was pretty nice. Now here's the terrible part, it was time to sleep and all of a sudden we hear loud stomping and slamming from the floor above us. It kept going for at least 30 minutes to an hour. We were trying to sleep and we couldn't! We called the front desk receptionist, which I doubt was the same one that checked us in the morning, because this receptionist was pretty rude. We had called about a couple times until they finally answered. When my husband was explaining to her what's been going on, she got upset with him. Instead of her kindly saying that she would be doing something about it, she just said oh well they just checked in. So all the stomping and slamming kept going for a long time. It was terrible! After a long trip we came here expecting that we were going to get some good sleep. We didn't.

My kids and I loved the pool! Mostly other family’s there or couples very quiet I loved it. We only stayed for one night and it was great! Definitely will come back. The breakfast was good!

Roaches outside the lobby. Night staff attitudey

Cockroaches outside the lobby. In the hundreds. Doesn't bode well for what might be inside. Thankfully, inside was roach-free. Breakfast was good. Waffles were great. Night staff (the lady at the front desk around 11:30pm) was not very friendly. This was not the over who checked us in, but the grey-haired one was showed up after check in. They ran out of water in the lobby and when asked if it'll be refilled, the response was, "whenever I get to it!". Hotel wasn't busy so not sure why the attitude-filled response. I saw another person get offered free bottled water. She could've offered that to us too but didn't.

Had a fabulous stay at the Hampton in Mesquite. Guest services were so nice and helpful. Mindy even gave us an upgrade to a room with a balcony so we could watch the moonrise. Definitely would stay there anytime I’m passing through Mesquite.

Very nice hotel. We’ve stayed a couple of times. The pool is awesome with an area for all ages. The room could not stay cool despite adjusting the thermostat. But overall it’s a nice place!
