Constantly dripping water in kitchen sink, only luke warm water and low water pressure in shower, pillow was too hard, bed was too small; double size bed ,not queen size bed. Property manager was not friendly and had bad attitude, not welcoming the guests.
I do not mind spiders, however they should be out doors. Its not ok to wake up with one just above your head. There were spider webs, egg sacks and cobwebs, throughout the cabin especially on the ceiling rafters, which haven't been wiped down in a very long time. The porch was worse. Cupboard doors were sticky, the oven was unusable due to the oven glass on door not sealed and held on by the bottom seal only. We were told to put our trash out, along with towels for pick up, which was not done our entire stay. On our 3rd night we had a bat in our cabin, not sure where it went. When the staff were informed, they replied with "This is a way of life out here".
The cabin was exceptionally clean. It was quiet and comfortable.

When I called the front desk for fix the light at the front door from the stairs to the front door where the balcony of the front was not working and so dark at evening, when in and out to go down stairs way almost trap down to stairs, but all this time we there, no one come to take a look or try to fix it.I called from the first evening. The bath room too small special the shower room get no place to put the shower soap, shampoo.
Well if your going to stay bring your own food or stop in West yellowstone or its 15 min one way to get food. The check in is 2 miles from the cabin and in some one's yard . There directions were the worst. They would not give us our money back or any kind of refund . So be ready the water at the lake was green and smelled awfull .
The cabin was nice and had plenty of space for my family of 6. The parking was a little less than ideal, but not that big a problem. The challenge for us, was that we were barely there because we spent each day at Yellowstone. We were about 30 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone, but it takes another 20 minutes to reach anything in Yellowstone. The cabin location was beautiful and I could hang out there for sure. Just be aware of the distance if you plan to visit Yellowstone. I gave the hotel staff a 3 only because we never saw them. The keys were in a drop box. I have nothing bad to say about them at all.

Worth it for the location
This place is worth it for the location. Fantastic view overlooking Henrys Lake. We had fun watching the pelicans in the bay hunt for fish (which would jump 2-3/minute in the evening). Very remote, took a little to find but very peaceful and quite. It was nice to stay in an actual log cabin. Good TV and free wifi. It was clean and comfortable. But you don't stay here for the accommodations, you stay for the view. Very reasonable pricing.
Cabin would be much nicer if the maintenance have being keep up.
Spider webs all over , had to clean that off right we arrived. Very old interior and carpets where very dirty.
For the money I paid expect a much better stay.
Check in staff was friendly
The hosts were always helpful and friendly. The cabins face a highway, but we weren't bothered by noise. The property needs a lot of upkeep. Our steps and porch were rough, paint peeled off. Door and inside chairs had peeling paint. Nice to have a kitchenette--had dishes, but no cooking utensils. No coffee, although there was a pot.
This cabin was great. Plenty of space, full kitchen, 2 rooms plus a loft. 2 tables one in the kitchen, one in the loft. Full living room as well. Very peaceful location and great view of the Henry's Lake!
It's very hard to find this location with ordinary GPS(ours is garmin). Just follow the direction from fry shop guys. Nice lake view but someone's house right in front of the lodge.
Bathroom is really outdated, and towels smell weird. Unfortunately, at last, we saw a tiny rat running around the living room area.
It's not worth the price of $200 a night. We tried to book in last minute for Yellowstone so we enjoyed our trip but never come back to the lodge.
6 adults - two bedrooms and a loft - Kitchen with dirty and limited cooking pots and pans. No help with checking in - Just a phone call and told where to find the key - This is a cabin on the Henrys Lake but no swimming due to leaches and blue green algae. No call to see if things were OK. I would have a hard time recommending it. Priced to high for what we got.
If I hadn't had reservations for this place for a year and I thought I could get my money back, I would have left upon arrival. The cabin where we stayed looked like it hadn't been tended to in 6 months. Thick spider webs on the front porch, the screen door would not latch, windows were filthy and the worst part was the old shag carpeting in the bathroom which was soaking wet upon arrival. We could hear bats in the walls and the kitchen floor was very dirty. For a cabin that was supposed to be so well equipped, it didn't even have hot pan holders. When I called the owner at check out, he had no concern that our stay had been so disappointing. He said if I wanted a cleaner and better kept cabin, I would have had to pay twice as much. Considering this place was $200 per night, I at least expected not to have to walk on old dirty wet carpeting. Not sure what was worse....the condition of the place or the attitude of the owner.
a lot of mosquitoes, the cabin doesn't have salt a
The cabin is surrounded by mosquitoes. We have a lot of mosquitoes bites as soon as we arrived and we can't sleep well at night due to itchiness. We have to run into the cabin as soon as we get off from the car. We don't get chance to enjoy the view or walk outside. The website pictures might be taking in the autumn or close to winter time when no mosquitoes. If I ever go to Yellowstone again, I rather to pay a little bit higher to stay inside the yellowstone park hotel. At least inside Yellowstone park doesn't have mass mosquitoes come after you. The mosquitoes around the cabin is too crazy.
The cabin was more than we expected!!!! It was clean and comfortable and on the lake. The staff and check in people were more than helpful and recommended some wounderfull places to eat. Cabin was 15 miles to west Yellowstone.

It was okay, but not sure we would stay there agai
It sleeps up to 6, but we only got one room key. Also there is only 1 bathroom. The cabin is dated so don't expect a modern decor. It was really close to the lake so that was a bonus and the person I talked to at driftwood lodge was very nice. All in all I'm not sure that it was worth the price. It is 20 miles from Yellowstone and there were a lot of cars exiting from the west exit so it was really slow.

Family time
Cabin #2 is a little more rustic than expected. It is clean and comfortable but bathroom is very small for 5 people. Cabin has a lean to it. Coffee pot needs to be replaced. Great scenery love the Pelicans. Lots of Mosquitos and better screens and sealing the cabin windows and cracks might better stop them from coming in. Did have a mouse run across living room floor the last evening. Despite this it was a great deal and the family time was great. Distance to west Yellowstone was good.

Great place to stay if visiting Yellowstone.
I booked this place because West Yellowstone was fully booked. I am so happy because we ended up in a place more beautiful and quiet with no crowds. The city of Island Park is really quaint. There is a great restaurant called the Pines. My adult children were able to rent a RZR (like and ATV) and travel all of the snowmobile trails. They were thrilled. Yellowstone was only a 20 minute drive. Really easily accessible. We had birds everywhere around us and we were yards away from the lake. Wonderful experience.
