Funky smell but clean room and welcoming staff

Checking in was very simple and the front desk person was helpful, as well as answered any questions we had. Its sometimes hard to find a dog friendly hotel and they were very accommodating. The room was clean but when walking in, it had a funky smell. But other than that, the beds were comfortable enough and the beds were clean.

Not a great experience.

Our stay was two nights fir a basketballtournament. The front desk staff were not too friendly, nor accomdating (i.e. - 1 hour late check out was denied as the manager said she didn't have enough employees). We were not sure how not enough housekeepers translated to not allowing a 1 hour extra time, so this made it highly uncomfortable. Also the breakfast was egg/sauge muffins, and constantly out, because they didn't have enough. No eggs...no waffles... the dinner was amazing though in the Cafe! That evening host/waitress was really the only friendly, helpful staff we met. We won't stay at this hotel again, and will not recommend to others.

Nice area. Very friendly and helpful staff. While it wasnt too hat the night we stayed, the air stopped middle of night(?), and didnt come back on at all. We were thankful for the continental breakfast, but the descrition mentioned "made to order" breakfast. Overall, we had a restful stay on our way to Sacramento and would stay here again!

Expedia advertizes a cooked to order breakfast included. This is NOT available. There is a continental breakfast. When mentioning this to the manager, he simply said "that's Expedia. We told them we don't have that".

This is an older hotel. The entry way was beautiful. The morning breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. The carpets in the downstairs area were very dirty and faded. The bedroom carpet was ripped in places. The room was not dirty but there was a smell. This hotel was in need of an update.
