This Hampton Inn at Mahwah NJ turns it up a notch

The breakfast was very good - lots of choices, hot and cold. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk people were nice. Bed was comfortable - on the firmer side which is how I like it so I don't wake up with a backache.

The pillows were lumpy. The sheets were scratchy. The highway noise was pretty loud. And the smoke alarm had a flashing LED light all night long. It was clean. Ok for one night but if I’d have changed hotels if it had been a longer stay.

The facility is old and the shower was gross. The location was convenient to where we needed to be. We stayed at three different Hamptons during our trip and have determined we won’t use this hotel again.
