At check in I felt very welcomed. They were extremely welcoming. Through out the entire stay the staff was incredible. Accommodations were exceptional. We are planning on booking the same room again.

Checked in with ease Michele and Amy were working the desk. They were so polite and kept saying if we can do anything let us know The pool was warm and clean and that was a HOT tub I loved it Rooms were clean and the suite was more than we expected Free breakfast was again a surprised. Eggs, ham, pancakes, cereal, waffles and much more our lady was so nice. I was happy to see my grands eat do well Would I come back You betcha !!!

Overall the property had a lot of potential with the location on the lake, proximity to restaurants, and other venues. In winter most attractions and venues are closed with only 2 or 3 restaurants available on a Saturday night. The front desk staff were very personable and welcoming. The breakfast area is a bit hidden on the 3rd floor but had the usual included breklakfast fare of make your own waffles, breads, cereals, coffee, juice, and some hot items in chafers. Again, the staff in the breakfast area were very kind, generous, and helpful. The cleanliness and maintenance was unfortunately lacking. The rooms had splatter marks on all walls, caked with dust on many surfaces, dirt and mold in bathtubs, and the pool was cloudy that patrons are unable to see a child swimming at the bottom in the 4 foot depth, and the hottub was lined with black mold.

Very pleased

I was very please with the check in process and the room itself. My parents went with me and the desk attendant tried to keep us close together even with different type of rooms. That was appreciated. I did have an issue with a lot of noise on the floor above me, sounded like kids running the halls yelling most of the evening, night, and first thing in the morning. Also my room was right next to the doors that lead to the beach so the first morning I was awakened by people yelling right outside my balcony door. I understand that the hotel cannot prevent this, but it was unfortunate. Next time I would try to request top floor so this would not happen again.

The staff was amazing. The pool was dirty and cloudy. The hot tub was warm at best and half of the Jets did not work. They do not have ice machine or vending machines. We almost fell about four times walking from the beach into the hotel because they did not put the rugs down and it was sand.

Most of everything around was closed until spring… So not much of anything to do in the winter but would be a great place to book in summer because it is within walking distance of the Main Street. Big pool and you get access to a splash park. Breakfast consists of eggs ham and waffles with short hours (7-9am). Layout of the hotel was a bit odd and confusing at times. Beds weren’t all that comfortable.

For being in "off season" this property did a fantastic job of making it feel like we were in the middle of a hot summer day and going to enjoy ourselves no matter what! Everything was clean, the pool was excellent and the two ladies in the front, which I believe were mother and daughter, were nothing but polite and professional. Thank you Hamilton Inn for providing my family with a comfortable, well needed middle of winter vacay!

Awesome hotel

Hotel is always wonderful. Clean, friend staff at check in. Breakfast is good but needs to mix it up from the same choices every day. Breakfast lady needs to be more friendly but all in all love it here.
