Loved that this was close to town but just a short walk out- it meant we could easily get to things but it was more peaceful. Property is clean, well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Staff was professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful. Wonderful experience overall, would absolutely stay there next time.

Great Spot

Great spot on the island and very good service checking in and out. Excellent fresh breakfast and beautiful grounds. Only reason I rated less than perfect on comfort is old pillows (very soft) and a little bit noisy. The wood frame building transmitted noise even though we stayed on top floor.

The Harbour View Inn is beautiful and ideally located for exploring nearby shops and restaurants. The grounds are serene and adorned with lovely flowers. Although our rooms were somewhat dark, we enjoyed a large window that I could keep open, allowing me to sit by the window with my book while it rained. The inn was quiet, and my husband and our 5-year-old also enjoyed our stay. A continental breakfast was served at 7:30 a.m. It was simple but sufficient to keep us satisfied for a while. The staff was courteous and kind, and the porters handled our luggage and transported us from the hotel to the pier. Overall, it was a perfect two-night stay.

A terrific place that is a close walk to the downtown area but far away enough to miss having the daily crowds near by. Place has everything you need in the room and out. The flowers are gorgeous and bike rentals the cheapest we found on the island. $20 for 4 hrs. Just a perfect place to unwind, read a book, or visit. Breakfast was basic but all fresh food for most part. Highly recommend this place.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located a little down from the busy area of town. Shepler’s ferry was very easy to take and go to Mackinac Island. Hotel picked up our luggage from ferry and was in the room when we arrived. Hotel was recently remodeled and was very beautiful. Loved sitting on the front porch watching people and carriages go by. Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating.

Room was nice; 2 sinks outside toilet/shower room were convenient, 2 suitcase stands convenient. Lacked some amenities we’re used to: desk and 2nd chair in room, no light or table on one side of queen bed, no view from our room (only a window a few feet from our balcony.)

The island is beautiful the place was cute too. The bed needed some real blankets and the hot water took a long time to heat up. FYI don’t stay on the third floor unless your really fit.
