This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area.

Both the highway and the air conditioner are noisy. I found a hair in the towel and an ant under the pillow. The towel rack falls apart as soon as I touch it. No restaurant or convenience store nearby.

We booked a small room as we only had to stay the night and we arrived quite late. They helped us by letting us check-in late. Please be sure to let them know if you are going to be late for your check-in. There was plenty of parking. The small room was quite small but it was very clean. This motel is on the highway so expect a lot of quiet.

Very friendly, helpful front desk staff. The room was sufficient for our family of 5. It was not updated but still mostly clean. The beds were terribly uncomfortable though, it was almost like there was a hole in the mattress. Good location, part way between Luray and Shenandoah national forest.

I don’t understand how they can be on Hotel.com and not take a Hotel.com gift card. That was really upsetting. The shower faucet dripped all three nights we stayed.
