We needed a place to stay one night, driving through for 11 hour drive to ca. A place to relax and kids burn energy at the pool. Unfriendly Staff at desk was not informative about offers and hotel services. Never asked for car id for parking, so assuming no security. Tv devices didn’t work, mud and rock was tracked from entryway rugs into hotel room. Our room had strange set up, sink and counter in the room separate from the room with toilet and shower. Pool felt like pebbles and not heated. Pool towels were hand towels. Hot tub was not hot. And text messages were never responded to if we needed service. When checking out nobody at the front desk on the morning. We just left our keys on the desk. I say only good thing was our room had 3 beds and morning breakfast was good.

Area going downhill

I stay at this hotel every couple of months to visit family. This time there were quite a few homeless people hanging out in the parking lot and having breakfast in the hotel. Some were very friendly, some made me feel unsafe.

The first room we were put in smelled horrible. I was trying to just get through it, but as we settled in and tried to shower, the shower curtain was hanging on by a few threads of the screws, and bowing so low that the water from the shower constantly went out of the shower onto the floor and walls on both sides. A big red stain on the carpet. We switched rooms, and it was better, but the overall quality of the hotel was not up to the same standards as other La Quinta hotels I have stayed in. The elevator seemed to barely make it to the third floor, with the hydraulics squealing for a few minutes sometimes as you waited for the elevator to finally dock at the third floor. Bleach stains on the carpets in the halls. Staff was great, although I asked if every one of them new the first room needed help, why did they put us in there in the first place?

The lobby was clean and the clerk was friendly and quick. Unfortunately the keys didn't work to our room so we had to go back to the desk. New keys worked but the AC wasn't working so we had to go back downstairs again, get another room and then move our luggage to the new room. The couch area is very nice but the TV was so tiny! Also there were no over the air local channels. Luckily we brought our firestick and could watch what we wanted. Room was clean except for an open bar of soap left in the shower. The rooms need new paint and gives fixed walls as they're looking very shabby. My biggest pet peeve was no housekeeper service at all! The they didn't even ask us if we wanted it upon checking in. Breakfast was ok but the only high protein low carb was the obviously reheated frozen omletts. The selection of carb filled items was great, bagels, toast, waffles and muffins. There was yogurt but they were high on sugar. Pool closes way too early at 10pm. Both nights we missed going as we were busy until it closed. Hot tub was tiny and parents were letting their little kids get in so there wasn't enough room for oz

High price poor show

The room as quiet. Not as clean as I would have liked it to be. Water on bath room floor when we arrived. Dust along mop boards. Torn curtains. A dark rather drab room. Lights did not really light up the. Room. Nice towels. Very low budget breakfast.

Our room was very nice and cool when we arrived. An older hotel that looked like it was maintained decently. The only issue we had was not the hotel itself fault per se but a huge downer to us. On Friday night multiple times in the middle of the night our door was wailed on by two different women asking for a gentleman that was not in our party. They were rude avying and then demanded that we tell them where he was at. Yet I have no clue who this person was. When we confronted the front staff about the situation I was just told oh sorry. That is not the way. The situation should’ve been handled.

Could have been better

The bed was comfortable enough, but several little things to make the room not so great. 1 sink was clogged with water and hair when we got there and even after reporting it, maintenance never came. The refrigerator didn't seal. Drawers didn't close right. Couch was ripped. Breakfast was slim pickings. It was sufficient for a couple nights and it was close to town, but if you are planning on spending any time relaxing in the hotel besides just a place to sleep, I'd look elsewhere.

When I checked in it seemed to be bright and clean. Went to the room and the AC didn't work it was 83 degrees in the room. I went to the front desk and was given another room. When this hotel was remodeled it was a poor job. Floor squeaked cranks, in the wall, elevator was super slow for 3 floors. Just take the stairs! The breakfast was not much choices and coffee was not the best of coffee. The room was clean which was huge!

The property was conveniently located to where I need to be and I have stayed here before with no issues. This time, the curtains were falling off their hooks, the toilet was not flushing and I was unable to use the washer/dryer since the dryer was broken.
