First of all, the location was very inconvenient. There was no transport available nearby, and we had to take a taxi from the bus station every day. There is no subway close to the hotel—the nearest one was at George Washington Bridge—and the taxi fare back to the hotel was around £22. Overall, the location is extremely inconvenient; you really need a car to stay here.
The rooms were not very warm and felt drafty. On arrival, there was no hot water, so we couldn’t take a shower until the next day.
Breakfast was another disappointment. At $25 per person, the selection was poor. The bacon and sausages were dry, the toast was also dry, and overall it was the worst breakfast we’ve ever had.
On top of that, many of the staff did not speak English, which made communication very difficult throughout our stay.
