It was a lovely place to stay for my wedding weekend. My husband and I got a free upgrade for our first night. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel and will recommend as a number one place to stay when you are in Portsmouth,NH.

This was our first time staying at a Courtyard by Marriott. I selected excellent because our stay was much more than good. We chose to book a suit, so we could have a couch to sit on. The bed, bathroom and vanity, closet, refrigerator area was nicely set up. We enjoyed relaxing on the couch in the morning, between outings and in the evening before bed. Our only complaint is there was no coffee in the lobby in the morning. We were told Starbucks wouldn’t let the motel offer it once it was part of the Bristo. To us this is a big negative. The one cup coffee maker in the room really didn’t do it for us. Just so you know…not everyone likes Starbucks coffee and for this company to stop the motel from offering it is wrong in our opinion.
