The Good, Bad and Ugly

The bad… 1. Lighting in the garage was not working on the second or third floor. 2. Pool permanently closed. 3. No restaurants. 4. No table games. 5. Ice machines don’t work. There was a note on it to buy ice in the general store. 6. Escalator was broken between 2nd and 3rd floor. 7. Flooring at main entrance was held in place with masking tape. 8 Room had noisy A/C fan and a ‘tube’ Phillips television. 9. Two elevators were whining badly and in need of service but still in use. 10. They took 3 pictures of the drivers license with a cell phone to join the players club. 11. Could not ‘check out’ via the TV. The good… 1. Check in was swift, efficient and friendly. 2. Room was clean with plenty of hot water. 3 Property has a private beach on the river for guests only that was well kept. 4. River Walk was very nice with Water Taxi stop at the property. 5. Price of the room on a Friday night was VERY reasonable. Finally, would I stay here again? Yes

Walk in the door and get hit with the smell of cigarettes and musty underwear. Unsure if the cleaning crew used a vacuum cleaner, appears to not be the case. The front desk lady was nice but management shut down any of a hope of giving my money back for the room I didn’t bother staying in. I would recommend choosing a different hotel and save yourself a headache

We booked online, they had no ice machines, the pool but showed pictures online, no restaurants you had to buy food from the bar, from desk didn't seem to care. We left and went to the Golden Nugget.

This property is very old, smells like smoke and the rooms still have tube TV's, no blow dryers, no extra pillows and smells like a nursing home.

Two extremes: Pros: staff are nice & the prices for food/snacks/drinks is crazy low compared to Vegas. $1 for a donut or $2 for an energy drink is grocery store pricing at a hotel. Never seen that before. Cons: this place, like all of Laughlin is old, outdated and stanky. Had a room on the 5th floor - great view of the roof and HVAC. That’s my fault. But, the interior of the room is straight out of the 90s. Faded pink chairs, old CRT TVs with 4 working channels. No power outlets. The bathroom toilet would only flush if you held the handle for 8 seconds. There was also a spider on the pillow. But this is what you get for $100 all-in.

Not Bad.

Best part of our stay was the comfortable beds and shower. Headboards were dusty, floors needed TLC. Definitely needed vacuuming and shampooed. Stained. Reserved the Standard room on the 24th floor. I would definitely book another stay. Staff was great. Didn't hit no Jackpots but machines did pay a little.

Staff was friendly and room was nice but the air filtration in the casino and front desk must have been clogged, broken, or just turned off. Won’t stay again due to extremely poor air quality. Probably ok for smokers which I’m not. Time for a smoke free casino??
