Lake Lawn Resort offers 271 accommodations with laptop-compatible safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. Pillowtop beds feature premium bedding. Kingbed. Very clean but small room with only 1 sitting chair. Reserved the room on expedia and did not pay for cancellation protection. When we arrived we were told that we had to pay extra $25/night Resort Fee b/c third party sites do not collect the fee. Staff was friendly when they had to send someone with a "special key" to let us into our room since our key would not unlock the exterior door.

We brought our children to Lake Lawn for many years while they were young. They are now grown and we all thoroughly enjoyed returning to this place where special memories were made. Most of the resort has been refreshed and looks great. It is just as lovely and homey and comfortable as it was in the 90's and early 2000's.

The only thing that was dissapointing is that the lookout bar did not have their fall warm drink such as the spiked apple cider..we thought that for sure this far into fall they would have it alteady, but there was more summery drinks and food even though it is now late october
