Clean room for a reasonable price.

The room was clean and relatively comfortable. for a reasonable price. Only one chair plus a desk chair so you are almost forced to watch TV from bed.

Spacious quiet room

We stayed 2 nights in a second-floor walk-up room which was large and quiet. Parking is very ample. Breakfast featured 3 cold cereals, flavored yogurts, apples & oranges, and hot food, coffee & tea. I think it is the best motel in Viroqua.

The property has obviously wear and tear but there was a solid attempt to make updates. Overall, it’s clean but feels old. The team was kind and welcoming. The free breakfast actually exceeded my expectations! I would have given it 4 stars BUT there were obvious stains on the blankets and pillow cases. We had 5 rooms, and 3 out of the 5 had issues. It’s gross. Probably should just throw them away even if they are clean.

This was not a good value overall. There was a sign on the counter apologizing for having no housekeeping services (not 3 days at a time for conservation, but a typed sign saying no services). We requested coffee and sugar packets for our room and were told there were none and we could get it in the lobby. We requested extra pillows because the pillows were very small and flat. They had none and suggested we roll up blankets. The employees were fairly nice, but it was really obvious this place had a dimishing amount of operating capital and is eeking out an existence. Not a good value at $135 a night and will not stay there again. Many other little things (no in room safe) that would take a page to list.
