Good for gambling.

Getting luggage to your room is a chore. 4 days no maid service. Not busy at all. Had to paid resort fee. ( Its not Vegas ) Everyone looked unhappy. Very cold inside.

The staff made this visit so memorable. We came for my birthday and they were so friendly and gave us ideas for places to dine and things to do for fun. I really appreciated them being so pleasant and fun. The room was comfortable and the pool was very pretty. I will be back again!

Kids can't swim in the pool on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I had my 13 year old son and 12 year old nephew with me. Kind of disappointing.

We were able to check in a couple hours early. They have a text alert system to let you know when your room is ready - which is great except no one in our group had cell service in the casino. We all had full bars but couldn't make incoming/outgoing calls or texts. We stayed in the non smoking tower. It's highly likely it used to be smoking though because it has a lingering amell. When we got back from our event and I showered, there was no not water. We could get hot water from the bathroom sink, but not in the shower. Water also leaked from the shower door all the way to the opposite wall after only being in there a few minutes. When I tried to call guest services about it I got a busy signal every time. It was after 11 pm and was too tired to make the trek all the way to the lobby so I just dried up the water and went to bed. Bed was so uncomfortable that I had to see a chiropractor when I got home. At check out we were charged a fifteen dollar resort fee which was hilarious to me. I don't know how that qualifies as a resort. Especially when there wasn't even hot water. But at that point I was over it. I paid the fee and left. I didn't want to wait in line over fifteen bucks.

Wifi was problematic from the beginning. The concept at this hotel to have no more than 3 devices connected or pay more is insane. That was very disappointing. Would have to have walked from one end of the casino to the other to use the pool. Food selections were VERY disappointing! We ate elsewhere every day!

Overall we enjoyed our getaway at the Blue Chip Casino on Monday June 9th 2025. When I booked the room I saw there were drink specials at the bar. In the evening we went to the main bar just off the casino floor near the main entrance and asked the bar tender what the special included. She rattled of something about "Well drinks" and I wasn't sure what that meant so I asked what kind of drinks that included. She got very rude and rattled off a few things and I could even understand what she was saying. (the bar wasn't busy, only one other person there) Needless to say we left without getting a drink. The room we had was in the old tower, it was dated and could have been cleaner especially around the bathroom corners. The hot tubs had way too much chlorine in them and made your skin sting a little bit. The location is nice and the property is fun to hang out in. I would not go out of my way to stay at this property again.
