The property is well located but dated. Water stains are obvious (these are stains that are properly cleaned and maintained for a long time) on taps and metal parts of the rooms, especially in shower area of the room. The room also have rusty/poorly maintained wall (especially at the bottom of wall along the alley beside the shower). The room is also musty - requested for dehumidifier but the smell could not be removed. Given this is a 5 star hotel, it is much expected for the room to be better maintained. We had paid for dinner buffet during our stay - as it is a dinner buffet, the used plates has to be constantly cleared off before we can get new rounds of food. The waitress was slow in keeping the used utensil and had an attitude despite having us to approach (politely) her for assistance in clearing our table at least 3 times. In fact, we noticed that she was selectively clearing other tables (clearing other tables more frequently, like every 5 mins or so) but kept ignoring us. She even hand signed she is busy with other table when their tables were not brimming with used plates and waste as compared to our table . We are unsure if this is discriminatory but it was an unpleasant experience. It heavily discounted our experience despite the good food and price. In general, the stay was ok but for a 5-star hotel, we expected more.

The hotel should have offered alternative solutions for our situation, rather than placing us in an undesirable position. We arrived in Hong Kong at 5:00 AM, and by the time we reached the hotel around 7:00 AM, we had nowhere else to go. Upon inquiring about early check-in, we were informed that the cost would be HKD 700.00 per day. Given our eight-night stay for two rooms, we were charged an additional HKD 13,000.00. The hotel should explore other options.

Staff were great, they will greet you as soon as you get off your car/taxi and bring your luggage to your room. They also surprised me with a birthday note and cake which was really appreciated. We booked the deluxe harbour view so the view was amazing day and night. Property/room was very clean, spaceous with nice amenities. A lot of dining and shopping options around. Close to the mtr. They have restaurants on site but we did not get to check them out. We will be back.
