Opened our first room to find people laying in the bed, same thing happened with the second room. Third room was empty but no sofa bed as booked. Parking wig wags don’t work and it’s a real pain in the ass. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly though which helped make up for the room issue.

Great location in downtown Kingston. Parking available adjacent to the main entrance. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Worth what we paid. I did not care for the breakfast buffet. It was not very good, neither the taste nor the quality of the ingredients. Not worth the $22.00/person cost.

My biggest issue with this property was the price…almost $450 Cdn per night including taxes and parking. Riculous! This is not worth the money! Sure, the location is great, but the hallways smelled musty, the towels were borderline threadbare, breakfast at $22 per person plus tax? C’mon! On the positive side, dinner was excellent, a nice outdoor setting at a reasonable cost. The room was cleaned efficiently, although it is time for an upgrade if you want to charge what you do. Also, and this is not the hotel’s fault, but when teams of young boys or girls come into town for a tournament, their parents need to teach them about hotel etiquette and respect for other guests. Running and shouting in the hallway at 10:30 pm is unacceptable.

I choose this location mainly for the location and was pleasantly surprised with how clean it was at checking and in getting into the room. The balcony overlooking the harbour was great. The air conditioner in the unit however was crazy noisy. Not the noisiest I’ve ever had to deal with but to say it only woke me up a few times throughout the night would be an understatement. It also vents directly out on to the balcony directly behind where you would try to sit to enjoy the evening silence and cool air. Those need to be replaced and relocated to a better space. Otherwise all was good.

The location and the waterfront/harbour view was wonderful. And it was nice to have a balcony, with the water so close I could dive off it (probably not recommended). The room was reasonable, but average. I was under the impression it included a bathtub but was disappointed to find it just a shower. I'm less impressed by a sliding bathroom door, and the plug mechanism in the sink didn't work. The heater/fan unit is not so elegant and had instructions to work it from a unit on the wall when in fact it's on the unit itself. So, fair room but great view.
