They sent me to another hotel that in my opinion is inferior. The room is not equivalent. But they say because they moved me to a Hilton it is already an upgrade. But there is active construction in the lobby. When asked the manager about the construction they said noise is permitted until 11pm in Niagara. When check bylaw says 7pm. So constantly being manipulated. At the parking, staff was just chatting and giggling away with this person on the car blocking the one lane. When flashed high beams they just ignored. Then gave a quick gentle honk they screamed and says why are we honking. Stafff walked up and explained there’s only underground parking and drop off. I said that’s fine but I can’t move cause the teuck is in the way and they Said they will eventually move and the other staff in uniform giggled away. No 4 star feel here

The Oakes sent us to their sister hotel, Hilton, stuck us in a corner room that should've been a closet. AC was back in a six foot cubby hole so with that the room was hot. They put a fan in the room and said it was fixed. And the parking. Wow. No mention we had to shuttle to frm the offsite parking. That oh yeah, that'll be $50 /ngt. Terrible hotel for the price. Zero stars.

Well they apparently had plumbing issue and we were unable to stay there. So really can’t comment on the Oakes hotel. However the staff were very helpful and had arranged alternative accommodation nearby for which we were very grateful for. So 5 Stars. Thank you

Property called two days before trip to tell us they moved us to another hotel as they had a plumbing issue and the whole hotel was shut down. The new hotel was great as was the room and it was falls view.

The hotel is currently housing a first nation so they found us a space in the hilton but they waited until the day we were supposed to check in to call us. The hilton had an amazing view but the room was in pretty rough shape.
