Staff at check-in weren’t busy (ie. no long line) however we still had to wait for someone to serve the Gold Card section. Clearer signs to the hotel elevator would have saved a lot of walking. Poor instructions from the Consierge. All he had to say was to head through Nero’s restaurant doors and the elevators are on the right side before entering the restaurant. We walked around, carting our luggage, with few people to ask. Eventually we found a manager who was able to take us directly to where we needed to go. It was quite a walk from the check-in area and not good for people with disabilities. We were not given instructions on how to access our floor from the elevator. Thankfully, another patron entered the elevator and showed us what to do. For our 5th Anniversary, we appreciated the quiet room with no sports players running through the hallways late at night, as this was an adult only hotel. No noise was heard from other rooms. We met the cleaning lady in the hallway and she was very kind and pleasant. We requested a fresh set of towels and they were brought to us promptly. It was a nice, private getaway from the busyness of our lives. We had breakfast at Johnny Rockets which was very good. The staff looked a little miserable to begin with but seemed to warm up as time wore on. We left the premises to enjoy a nice anniversary dinner. We miss the Buffet that was once here…you should bring it back…it was the best! Despite a few bumps, we will definitely be back again.
