The parking lot was closed and took 40 minutes in line for valet parking. The swimming pool was closed didn’t find out till check-in and the steakhouse was out of a few different steaks so we ended up eating at the Italian place. Not a good experience for my first time there. The room was large and very clean. Staff was friendly. Just wish parking was faster and the pool was open.

Room was very dark, one of the 2 lamps didn't work. There is no ceiling mounted lighting. Lack of clear directions on website for the first times that check in for all towers is in the lobby of the Augustus tower. I decided to drop of my elderly mother and the luggage at the main entrance near the elevators to the Forum tower in order to minimize walking distance for her, but then had to make them wait while I walked back through the casino to check in. Couldn't get a dolly for the luggage. Poorly organized

Staff lacked empathy, hotel charges a resort fee but pool was down for servicing until spring, no mention of how no breakfast or lunch options if you have children as all restaurants except for 1 are inside the casino. The restaurant outside the casino only does dinner. It wouldnt have been that bad if they had room service, but they didnt even have any room service! Lastly they advertised of a discount on valet parking, but upon checkout, they try to charge full price and only addressed it when i called it out and a manager came out toremove the charge. Never staying there again.

The check in process took over an hour. There was multiple check in desks without staff. Most casinos want you to have access to your room and to go back into the casino. This one wanted our group to wait in line frustrated that we couldn’t drop our bags. Do better. One elevator was out of service the whole time. The parking renovation project makes it really hard to get around. A “resort fee” when the pool, hot tub and parking are under renovation feels criminal. What resort?
