Really lovely place. The rooms are huge, only a bit dated, but fantastic overall. If the pool had a net available to remove dead bees and the hotel had at least a snack shop - even better, a bar - then I would give it 10 out of 10. As it is, it’s a solid 8 as it really is fantastic at doing the basics very well and the rooms are, as mentioned, huge, as well as comfortable, well cooled with the aircon and the views of the inland waterway from the balconies are brilliant. Would definitely stay here again without question!

Great Hotel!

Waterside is the best! I scuba dive in Key Largo and have stayed there many times . I always have a great room overlooking the water. The staff that runs the hotel is amazing and so friendly!!

The staff takes a lazy approach to early check-ins. An early check-in request is a request, and it can understandably be approved or denied. The staff is a hard NO and inflexible. Regardless of whether a room is available, there is a 15:00 check-in period. There are better hotel options in Key Largo.

We are no strangers to Waterside Suites as this is our second time staying. The overall condition of the property was good and it appeared that staff were doing their best in updating and maintaining it. The guest services staff was extremely polite and thorough ensuring that we knew where to park, where our room was located, and instructions for the pool and ice machine. The room is VERY spacious with the upstairs being an entire bedroom with shower. Although this unit had a bed in the living area, it was a nice space just to chill and watch television. The kitchen offered a nice sink, refrigerator, microwave and stove, along with dishes and utensils. The balcony was huge and could easily seat 4-6 people, even though for this trip it was only two of us. The balcony overlooks a canal which was nice, and the pool was refreshing. The only two negatives were that there was only one ice machine available, and a drain around the pool was clogged. This place was affordable and easy to access the Overseas highway. Honestly, probably the best deal for the size of room that you'll find in Key Largo. I would 100% stay here again.

This independent property was amazing, pleasantly surprised. It was in a brilliant location and value for money. We only used it as a base for somewhere to sleep but would have been great for other uses too.

Hotel itself was okay however, toilet paper holder fell off the wall, there was no shampoo in the bottle and no body wash. They put, 2 towels in the bathroom when there were 4 of us, the shower door wouldn't shut neither would the bathroom door. I had ZERO hot water in the morning for my shower.

I wasn’t expecting anything special when I booked this because I just chose the closest and cheapest place near I was going to in key largo but was pleasantly surprised. Place was incredibly nice for the price. Would definitely book again when in the area
