Key Colony gem

We love Key Colony and this hotel has private beach and pool with comfortable beach chairs. Tiki bar next door is beautiful. Front desk personnel are great. Coffee, ref and microwave in room with comfortable bed, pillows and plenty of new towels. Ceiling fan and AC are quiet. Area is quiet and safe but you should never miss sunsets at Sunset Park with organized local residents. Wonderful experience with friendly group. Only one negative point is the coffee shop next door to this hotel with one young, unenthusiastic employee. Took her 30 minutes for Avocado toast and egg bacon breakfast sandwich for my wife and I.....only customers at 9am.

Perfect weekend getaway

Love this location! The small beach and pool are perfect for relaxing. The restaurant next door has great happy hour and live music. Food is average. The area is pretty residential, you have to drive for other food / beverage / entertainment options. If you don’t have a reason to leave, no need to. We will definitely come back.

This is a great spot! We stayed for two nights and loved the location. We picked it because we wanted to stay on the water but not in Key West, but close enough to spend the day in Key West. It was clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor and could hear the AC unit turn on at night when everything was quiet. That was my only complaint. Staff was wonderful. Havan Jacks next door is great for dinner. Breakfast was off site at Island Fish Market. We will definitely recommend and stay again!

We loved our sweet that opened up onto the beach. We are spoiled by michigan beaches.In the summer. The little beach here is quite nice. And of course the ocean is beautiful. Great to have a grill available. We cooked some shrimp on the BarB. The tiki hut and restaurant next door we're so convenient and really fun.

Great oceanfront hotel with its own beach. Good restaurant on property for dinner and lunch. The staff were super friendly. There are some very nice thoughtful items included in the rooms that show they really care about customer service. We had a great experience. Will stay again.

The restaurant and tiki bar at the pool was super great the bar tenders spot on. We planned on going to many other places but the live entertainment and food just made it hard to leave. Will definatly return soon

Villa Life

We stayed in villa 8, and from the living room, we stepped out onto a patio and down three steps to the pool. We could walk across the pool area and out a gate to the beach. The villa was large, clean, comfortable and bright with lots of windows. There are kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles available. My only suggestion would be to leave some things previous visitors have left behind there - like detergent, sunscreen, games, etc.

Our stay at the Glunz saved by the ocean view

The check in was OK, The front desk clerk is apparently required to sternly lay out the rules and regs which includes explaining that visiting guests are required to check in at the front desk and be charged a $50. fee per guest per day to use the pool and beach and no coolers are aloud at the beach or pool. The elevator was broken so we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs (no discount was offered for the inconvenience), so we had yo keep going up and down 3 flights of stairs from the beach or pool to our room every time we wanted something to drink (no coolers allowed at the beach).The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable however, I'm 5'7" and I found the shower stall very cramped even for me. I will say that the view from our room and balcony made up for everything with spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Ironically, we saw the elevator repair company arriving as we were checking out.
