Check-in was great. Friendly staff. The room was clean at first appearance. The room, air conditioner, and bathroom smelled of mold and mildew. Bathroom had mildew stains around the tub. The carpet was dirty and damp. Not acceptable for a hotel that jacked up price during high fishing season!
I wouldn’t recommend anyone for this property, common door between rooms made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Ac makes huge noise. And since very early in the morning, very loud thumping noise above the ceiling was going on for 2 hours or so constantly. Very very poor service.
I booked online thru Expedia and was shown a new more modern hotel. I was not given an option of first or second floor and when I arrived I discovered our romm on second floor and no elevator. Online should state wether or not each hotel has an elevator. my 80 year old mom cant do stairs. the young girl at front desk had to call her manager to give us a ground floor room and I was very grateful
The pool has rules that no children are to be in the pool from 9pm-11pm. My adult son and I went to the pool at 9:30pm and there were several loud children playing and horsing around. It was hard to enjoy our hot tub experience. Also, the hot tub had things floating in that didn't belong. Overall, great experience.
We are not happy at all with the toilet seat being loose and when I asked for someone to look at it as we where going out for the day, they said they would send maintance. When we returned almost 8 hours later are door was wide open. Anyone could have entered and stole anything. I immediantly went to front desk and was not given a good answer. So the next morning i reported it again. Nothing, I feel the manager should have at least come and spoken to us about. Not happy at all but extrememly glad our belongings where not taken. Also toilet seat was not fixed at all.
The breadfast was outstanding and the gentelman incharge of it was awsome. Infact he apologized about the door and bathroom. I know he is only kitchen help but he was the only one who seemed to care. They should consider giving him a raise cause he was so friendly and caring to everyone.
We had an oxygen condenser in room and if it was taken they cost around 8000 dollar, plus my mother would have been without it for night time.

Noisy spot
Our room was near the front entrance. We were woke up several times by loud people outside our room. Then, a delivery truck came early and made a lot of noise in making the delivery. Somebody needs to stay in a handicap accessible room, but it was not us.
Older property that desperately needs a face lift. Public areas are not very clean. Poor breakfast selections. Guest room was clean and bedding comfortable. Ok for a quick stay.
