Property while clean, was extremely dated and need of general maintenance. The grounds and the general aesthetics of the property needed a refresh, which was a shame as its location offered a lot of natural beauty. The staff was very friendly and helpful except for the FD agent that check us in on June 18th around 3:00 to 3:30 pm. The agent did not speak up, which made her hard to understand. Very little eye contact. She also claimed we did not have reservations on file even though I had verified the reservations twice with a supervisor at the hotel prior to our arrival. It was only after I mention the supervisor's name that she was able to find the reservation. Regrettably that got us off to a bad start.

It is a good halfway stop to CO and access to Monument Valley. The pricing is good compared to others in the area. The only complaint I have is the doors to other units close very loudly which can be disturbing.

One Night after Monument Valley

Even though we took the sunset tour in Monument Valley which ended about 8:15pm, we took pictures from the View Hotel and still made it to the hotel during daylight hours.

The property is dated however we were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms renovated. The hallways and room are extremely clean and maintained. Even though our room was on the highway side it is so well insulated that we didn't not hear any of the outside noise. The young lady at the desk was very nice.

The wifi at this property hardly worked at all,only got about 10 minutes every 1 and half hours. Complained and was told it was affected by tge weather but free wifi across the road at McDonalds and Taco Bell was fine. Very basic room not even a fridge or microwave, a necessity in this day and age.

Room was so dark with only table lamp and 1 small ceiling light. Looked like haunted. When we booked the room it said on website that all rooms have wifi but there was NO WIFI , upon checking at the lobby they said signal might come but thank god we only had 1 night to spend. It said on the website that refrigerator and microwave is available upon request but nope. No luck. It was overpriced. Not recommended.
