A Place to Lay Your Head

When I arrived, check in was very easy and quick. I unloaded my bags and went up to the room and found that the flooring in the rooms was wood laminate which is not to my liking but couldn't tell from the photos on hotels.com. I much rather prefer carpet in my rooms. The room was nice and clean, but the a/c couldn't keep up with the heat. I set it at 65* and it never shut off the entire weekend including during the night, so it was rather sticky in the room probably partly because of the indoor swimming atrium. I never experienced breakfast due to my scheduling and not getting in until 4am most nights so I slept in. The refrigerator/freezer was not working properly and didn't keep my pop cold or things frozen. The parking was not the best for as big as the hotel was and the parking lot needs a makeover due to the number of potholes it has. Overall, I would probably give this a 5/10 rating and maybe I just caught them on an off weekend.

My daughter's HS basketball team was staying at this hotel which is why I booked a room there. I was traveling as a single parent with two young kids (2 years old and 4 months old). I booked the suite so that I could have the extra space for two pack n plays for the kids. My sister lives in town so I dropped off my kids at her house on Friday around 3 so that I could come check in and get the room set up. The room immediately felt warm so I messed with the thermostat, got things set up and left. I didn't return to the room with my kids until probably 8PM. The room still hadn't cooled down but I decided to push through because I needed to get the kids to bed. The next morning when we were leaving for the day, I said something to the person at the front desk about the AC not working in my room. She wrote my room number down and said someone would look at it. I was grateful and moved on with my day. Again, we returned to our room after a long day of basketball around 8PM and the room was STILL hot and I had received ZERO communication from staff that they were not able to either look at or fix my AC. I put my kids to bed (which was a struggle because it was so hot) and immediately called downstairs. No answer. I call again. No answer. I began calling over and over again from both the hotel phone AND my cell phone. I even had my husband back home calling as well. I tried for over an hour and absolutely no one picked up. How completely ridiculous.

Hot as heck.!!!

It is an old motel. Laundry room was hot as heck. Machine took my money and they said it would be tomorrow before maintenance man would be in to get refund. Ridiculous. Won't be here tomorrow. Whole place was hot. Room and lobby. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I read review that the hotel was outdated but it was rundown. We reserved and paid for a room with a king size bed because we sleep with our baby, but our room had one queen. When I inquired at the desk, the woman tried gaslighting me and then that we needed to talk to Travelocity.

Great affordable hotel

Had a great time with my kids at this hotel. Clean, large room and enough space in the lobby and pool area to move around and relax. Will definitely use again when in the area.

At around 19:30 a puddle started forming just outside the bathroom door coming from a leak from the metal grate in the ceiling. When I went to the front desk I was told the maintenance people had left for the day and there were no available room for us switch. So we had to endure the plop, plop, plop of water dripping the entire night. Very unpleasant.

It was very nice facilities my only issue was the hotel was booked full of kids for baseball tournament and basketball girls. The room right across the pool was not quite at all even though pool closed at 10. There was a large group of parents drinking and kids running wild unsupervised. I asked front desk for help since i was trying to rest frim major back surgery and it wasnt addressed. The second night I delt with room next to us full of screaming kids until 3am. I couldn't get any sleep after surgery to rest before 2hour drive home.
