We stayed less than 12 hours at the Maui Seaside Hotel in Kahului, checking in after midnight and leaving by 11 a.m., and I was shocked by what we got for $300. The first room was dirty — hair in the sink and tub, and even a bottle cap under the bed. I called the front desk immediately, and while they were polite and moved us across the hall, the second room, though a bit cleaner, was still outdated and worn. Before check-in, I was offered a “renovated” room for an additional cost, but I had no idea there was such a stark difference between those and the standard rooms. Once we arrived, it became clear — the renovated rooms are completely different, while the older rooms (especially around 3024 and beyond) are old, dirty, and gross. The contrast to the updated rooms, like those ending in 3022, is shocking. The airport location is convenient, but the value simply isn’t there. Definitely not worth the price.

Room was clean. AC was a bit noisy. Hotel is located on south end of Kahului Harbor and within a short walking distance from the wing foiling launch spot - my reason for going to Maui this time. Not the most picturesque part of Maui but it’s conveniently located

Other people staying with you can see you naked when you are in toilet. Maui Seaside Hotel provides best interior, but sliding window type of bathroom door. If you are guest of 3, other person can easily see you when you are in toilet through the side opening of the sliding wooden door, which uses the slider in top. This hotel is only good for couples not for big family. Other aspects are good except for this one. Interior is best. My stay was not private and I didn't felt happy and never would recommend for non-couples to say here.
