Our two double room was VERY small and had no frills. Although it was clean enough, in general, this hotel feels like it needs a makeover. The grounds are very pretty, and the location on the water is nice.

Oceanview. Walking distance to the beach. A little windy for swimming. It's located in the middle of the island. So it's easy to reach either end of the island. It's not very far from Walmart or Costco.

Extremely loud with the highway infront and on the side! Dirty, showed up and took wasn’t ready and yet it was almost 4pm. The same thing happened to the lady that checked in infront of me! Would not recommend again! $2000 for 6 days…..crazy plus then parking! And they did nothing about the noice of the guests playing and screaming in the hallways at 2am multiple nights.

Pictures shown are very deceiving-the actual property doesn't come close. The entire property is very dated and seems mostly used by workers (not for vacationing). We had booked an oceanview room for 3 (2 adults & 1 child) and were assigned a room with 1 King without a pullout or enough space to add a rollaway bed. Staff complained about us booking through 3rd party (expedia) and claimed there is nothing that can be done about it. Also, Oceanciew was partial at best - over the industrial harbour. Very disappointing experience.

The grounds are beautiful and we always have a great time playing a round of pool and cornhole. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We stay here every time we are in Kahului.

MBH is an older property but generally well- maintained inside and out. We experienced a problem with our room shortly after checkin, but the staff was very gracious in providing an alternative. Rexie was the bellman on duty when we checked in and he was very helpful in getting us settled and with advice on walking distance restaurants. Good location and quiet.

The pictures online are not accurate compared to the actual rooms they have. I feel like I paid too much money for the quality. The pool is located on the roof in the front of the hotel. Not much space up there and it’s just awkward. The room was very crammed, the good part of it was that the AC was working.
