Clean, comfortable, budget friendly

The hotel is clean, inside and out and seemed to be recently renovated by the looks of the flooring and paint on the walls. The breakfast area was kept clean and the options were plenteous with either hot or cold choices. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is easily accessed from the freeway, and close to the airport. Room 101 is very noisy with some sort of noise every 15 minutes but the other room we stayed in was quiet, even being on the freeway side of the hotel. We did not use the pool or the internet, so not sure of their quality. The mini fridge in the rooms was much larger than in most other chains - even had a separate freezer section which would hold at least three half gallons of ice cream. It is not the Holiday Inn Express but it also is not the price.

Bed bugs

It was okay until I felt something on my leg while I was laying on the bed. I managed to grasp it between my fingers and put it in the bathroom sink to take a photo and zoom in. It was a bed bug. I immediately called the front desk and checked out.

Unfortunately, the evening staff altered our reservation and the number of people in our group before we got there and reassigned us to a room that would not house our family. They had no other rooms available and It was too late to reserve another room somewhere else, so we ended up having to sleep at a rest stop The pictures online of this location are inaccurate. For instance - there are multiple front desk pictures that are way more updated than the actual front desk. The night attendant was helpful and courteous.

The front desk personnel were not very friendly. We encountered 2 different males and neither of them were. The room was was filled with dust and was over-all not clean. Limited options for breakfast for someone who doesn't eat eggs or pork products, so for me breakfast was just carbs which is not good. Why advertise a gym when the 2 machines neither of them work?

I didn't catch anybody names this time. My visit was very pleasant and the staff were totally awesome please keep up the good work. I'm coming from Greenville, SC (my hometown). I live in Dallas, TX (2nd hometown) lol. But um, I have chosen Jackson, MS because it's closer to my home approximately 5 hours 54 minutes 407 mi. If I ever need to stop for a layover this will be it. Thank you so much guys!!!!! Peace blessings stay safe!

The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and courteous. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a very comfy bed and drink making facilities were provided. The bathroom and furnishings were very good. The free Continental Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. If you were looking just for a reasonably priced room for a couple of nights, then this accommodation would definitely be worth considering.
