Wonderful place to stay. Great location, spacious room with King bed and fireplace. The $5 breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold foods a good coffee. Would absolutely recommend.

The gal who checked us in spoke so fast and with a rather thick accent it was hard to know what she was saying. It was very methodical, with absolutely no eye contact, I felt like a machine. The room was fine but things were tired looking. When we returned from our day activities there was such a strong scent of cooked peppers it was hard to sleep. I don’t know if our room was above your kitchen area or what. On this road trip I booked 8 different overnight facilities. All 7 of the other hotels were 1/3 of the cost and more enjoyable. I just don’t think the value was there.

The air conditioning in our room didn’t work. We tried calling the front desk with no response. I went to the front desk, and found the receptionist in the bar. Linens were disgusting, and so was the bathroom. No coffee pods for the keurig, and the $5.00 breakfast was absolutely terrible. Horrible experience for $700.

My favorite thing about this hotel was all the playfully carved bears and critters peeking in windows, raiding the trash can, etc ~ whimsical. But also, the room was comfortable and we appreciated the elevator to the second floor. Decent hot breakfast buffet for small price and restaurants within walking distance.

It was nice the property was walking distance to some restaurants. It was not in the main downtown so it was less crowded but it also meant not walkable to the downtown stuff. Wished the breakfast was a little more consistent - the kids were so excited with the yummy muffins one morning and then so disappointed when they weren’t there the next. And no hot carb - pancake / waffle or anything (one open / empty warming tray each time we were there). Enjoyed the wooded carvings throughout, felt very woodsy.
