Inn is dated. Ammenties are decent, but youre paying mostly due to the convenience to access the national park. Might give you the ick if youre a clean freak.

This hotel is very close to Bar Harbor and on the shuttle route. The room was clean and comfortable. We were disappointed in the view from our room as the hotel advertised rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains or harbor. Our room had a view of an oversized Adirondack chair on a grassy lawn.

I love the location of this property. So close to downtown Bar Harbor but still felt like you were in the National park with the forests surrounding you. The breakfast restaurant had amazing views AND great food/service.

Nothing wrong with this place but the value. For +$300 / night I would expect an updated room. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but the room looked like it had not been updated in over 30 years. Faded artwork, water stains, a few ceiling cracks, wear on everything, rust in the bathroom, very old-school look all around. This had $150 motel vibes and if that had been the price, I would have been happy. My kids enjoyed the pool and the two rooms we had were spacious. There was a porch with a "view" but it also overlooked a parking lot and another building. Not worth the price.

This was the perfect spot. It was close enough to the village to walk but not right in the middle of town. The free trolley picks you up right in the parking lot so you don't have to deal with parking or it's also close enough to walk. I also loved the retro bath and body works products they give you.

The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village. The rooms are a little dated but beds were comfortable, Internet access was excellent.
