Disappointed. Main reason for choosing this Villa was for the location and the fact it listed a “gym”. Upon check in we asked gym hours and were told 7 am- 8 pm. My daughter was excited to work out the 2nd eve there (closed Sun). 10 mins into her workout was very rudely greeted by a staff member who told her to leave immediately. Reached out to owner & I was advised open gym hours are 11-4 (Most on vaca are off enjoying their day and working out early/ late). The owner apologized and said she could try a class “for free” but she didn’t really feel welcome to do that. She only got one gym day in. Also, the classes that were held in the evening BLASTED music / could hear whole class which we didn’t find enjoyable. In addition this place is VERY stark. Zero personal touch- no coffee ( for first morning even), no salt/ pepper/ a single cleaning supply/ no “games” that were in listing. We packed lightly so we could just bring carry-ons understanding there was a washer/ dryer in unit which we discovered was broken on the second day -and we reported to caretaker. Nothing was done until the afternoon before we left when he offered to do our laundry- at that point there was no point.Also, there was construction going on right next door which was incredibly LOUD all day which made enjoying the pool/ roof top etc unenjoyable. Positives- Bethsua ( caretaker) was great and glad to help how he could. Restaurant was fantastic for breakfast. Grounds immaculate. Would I stay again? No.
