Best in the area

Fantastic view and room itself. The live music was LOUD though on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Like, all doors and windows shut and TV on max volume and you can barely hear it, loud. Staff was friendly, facilities are nice, food was good. The faucets dripped and the AC in the actual bedroom went out on our last day but I’m sure they’re going to take care of it. Overall, probably the best oceanfront hotel in the Melbourne area

The proximity to the beach is great. I was disappointed with my room..a handicapped that i did not need or ask for. The water pressure in the shower was just a trickle..the toilet did not flush..even after asking staff to fix..and room swas only cleaned and supplied 1 day out of 4. I also did not appreciate the $20 day parking fee.

Eventful stay

Friendly staff and clean rooms, but there was a problem with someone entering someone else's room on my floor, and the fire alarm went off at 11:30pm. No staff came out to speak to guests- and when it stopped ringing everyone just wandered back to their rooms.

Booked last minute trip… I have never been to Melbourne before but the hotel is perfect location. The room was located by the pool and beach. The restaurant on site was convenient and friendly. There was a great band on Friday. This is a very relaxed beach vibe place.

I booked a last minute get away and was not impressed at all but the location was amazing! Pros: the location is fantastic! Beach access directly from the beach. Cons: I booked last minute and expected to pay a bit more. I paid just under $400 for an ocean view standard room. I arrived on site to learn when you book through a 3rd party aka Travelocity oceanfront means ground level. Told “hotel view” shows this but it did not specify for me at booking. The rooms in ground floor ocean view are open to the bar area and not at all private. And ocean view is.. well not visible. When I realized this I called the front desk. Busy signal… aka off the hook. Not surprising. At check in no one was present and the person who was yelled out that he “would be right there”. I inquired if a room was available with a private balcony as indicated in the ad. I was told there were none with an ocean view but for a charge they could do a king suite not ocean side. I was traveling with my mom to give her a break from end of life care with my dad so that would not work. I was told “sorry that is the way it is” and I said we would make it work. Long story short if you can get this room for $150 per night it is worth it. $400 per night not even close. Accommodations were outdated with broken shower head and mattress base. Several rotted areas. I don’t mind dated and often choose older properties. Would love partial refund but don’t anticipate it. Suggest customer service focus.
