Compare Cheap Hotels in Hawaii Island

Room was very clean and location is good. It’s about 20 minutes south of the main part of Kona. We didn’t use the pools but they have plenty.

Beautiful resort but needs repairs. The tram was broken the majority of the week, the walk to the last building is quite far if packing baggage. Needs more food options with better hours of operation. Room was clean, pools amazing. Took several days to find the ice machine. Overall very happy with our stay.

This was a work trip. However short the stay was and that i was hardly at the hotel to enjoy all the amenities, the front staff was amazing when checking me in.

I thought it was good that the hotel was near the airport. The hotel generally looked old and dingy, parking spaces are too small, tile trim falling off, shower curtain didn’t extend the length of the shower, the complimentary soap next to the sink was hard to wash off, the lanai furniture was old and felt dirty. We were located on the beach side 4th floor of the hotel and it was unappealing to see the roof below with the paint peeling. I understand that your hotel was sold out on the day we arrived and I’m not sure if the demand determines the price per night, but at $355 per night, I’ll probably go to an Airbnb next time.

For a “resort”, we rate it ok. Front desk and concierge were not great or helpful- except cleaning service. Didn’t seem to wow us except for the ocean view. It is in a nice location, very walkable.
