I did not like the distance we needed to walk from the front office and car parking to the hotel room. It took about 20 minutes! Ocean Tower was fine, but it needs a place to eat dinner.
I haven’t been here in a while, glad I booked the stay. Somethings have changed, it seems a more casual vibe than in the past. Staff was friendly, the property was beautiful. My only concern would be the one tram available and the early closure of restaurants and bars by the pool. Other than that it was a lovely staycation.
This property was amazing. I booked a condo resort next to it and only needed one night at the Hilton before I started my stay at my condo but wanted to spend all 10 days at the Hilton Vacations. I brought my family back just to spend the day there during our 10 day vacation. Definitely planning to return.
Do not buy the breakfast we paid $71
The four burrito breakfast were terrible
It is a waste of money because the total was $51 and Expedia charged us $71

Our Ohana had a Wonderful Time! Resort is really costly to eat
Overall this is a great hotel. The location is great and so much to do at the hotel. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is how far you need to walk to get to your room. They do offer a tram but that is every 20 min and it is very slow. So make sure you don’t forget your car keys when you go to leave. That’s an hour delay by the time you go back to get them.
The hotel is inside a resort with 4-hotels and a bunch of shared amentities and tourist companies. It's a nice place for vacation. However, I actually recommend to take another hotels in the same area, or just driving a little bit further to Kona.
This hotel is the inner-most one of the 4 hotels, which means you either need to walk or take the internal tram for another 15 minutes after getting out of your car, not mentioning that the parking area is also quite large. Meanwhile, the self-parking fee is $48 per night which is rediculously high considering it's the big island.
The facilities of the hotel is also quite old, and what surprised me was that you can even find a PS3 in the room! And there are also some shaddy ugly dirty ice machines in the corner of the building which I doubt if it's PNO or just ruined and forgotten there forever.
