Bad experience/ stay

I booked a 3 night stay with comfort inn. I didn’t arrive til Saturday so I ask if I could be accommodated because I came late. Front desk person told me I would receive a discount & didnt. On top of they gave my room away that I booked on top of taking the money out of my account from the previous day . I booked a double queen bed and was give a room with a full size bed for me and my family of 5. They didn’t accommodate me for that . When I finally got a chance to talk to manager of the hotel on the phone because they never was there he said I was charged $25 a person so they weren’t going to refund me any money . I proceeded to ask where did they state that in the policy & he told me to go look on Expedia it states that, in which it did not. The pool water is very dirty and black . The lobby had trash all on the shelves. The rags and towels were dirty had stains on them. Asked for extra they were still dirty. When I asked for extra blankets pillows I was given sheets not pillows or blankets were available. Walking in no one greeted me each time they were on the couches playing music from the tv chilling. It’s not worth the money .

I didn't like the insects in the room, the bathroom door that didn't close and had a broken handle, or the amount of debis in the chair and around the edges of the room. The breakfast was okay.

Do not recommend unless you are in a bind. There was almost never any at the front desk. When we left there was a sheet of paper with a phone number to call if you needed to be checked in and a small box to leave your key as you left. The room it self was clean, but the elevator was dirty and the entire second floor reeked of indian food the entire time we were there. We tried to call to ask for more towels and found the phone does not work. The pool is closed and maybe needs to be condemned. It is filthy sitting stagnant water. Before I saw the condition of the pool I asked how long it would be closed and was told all week. After looking back alittle farther in the reviews I found the pool has been closed for months. Will not be back.

Lacking in Multiple Areas

Booked two rooms for a group trip to Hershey Parks. Two rooms with one adult and two school aged children per room. Requested connecting rooms. At check in, parking lot was empty and it took ten minutes to check in. Received one set of keys and inquired if rooms were connected and they said no and were very confused. I said I booked two rooms, is there a way to connect them. When they checked my booking they saw their error, and "upgraded" one room to a suite, that connected to the other room. The suite included a sofa bed as well. Kids were thrilled to no longer have to share a bed. But no additional linens were provided for the sofa bed. And when removing the cushions to set it up, it was disgusting - covered in debris, crumbs, animal hair, etc. The one bed, which appeared clean, had dog prints staining the sheets in multiple locations. Pool was closed with a handwritten sign saying for our safety, and the pool looked like a petri dish. Kids were disappointed that we couldn't use it during the 96+ degree heat wave in Hershey, PA. Multiple rooms along our hall were propped open for repairs using the door lock. Giving off very ominous vibes along the corridor where anyone could go in and out of those rooms unchecked. Products provided in bathroom were very poor quality. And no shelf in shower proved to be very inconvenient for the toiletries we brought. But I guess I got what I paid for and saved money.

The rooms were good, but the pool was not working and broken equipment was stored in there. Trash both inside and outside was not emptied for at least 2 days. Not what I was expecting out of a Comfort Inn Choice Hotel.

The hotel looks really good but the rooms aren’t clean. The bathroom and bedsheets had bodily fluids. Very dirty. Do not recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

The first room we were given lacked AC and a working bathroom light. When we came back from our event, the key didn’t work. We informed the front desk, but they didn’t check to make sure we were trying the right room. They fixed our key, but when we tried it for that room it was deadbolted because it was someone else’s room. The front desk confirmed we were actually in a different room. We entered our correct room with unease, fearing the front desk would give keys without confirmation. We didn’t have towels in our room, and the front desk seemed inconvenienced when we asked for some. The TV also didn’t work. Overall, it was a poor stay.

When we arrive we thought the hotel was fairly decent. When I walked in the room and were pleasantly surprised the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a good lighting but upon further inspection everything was subpar. When you turn on the light in the bathroom it also awakened the wild banshee. Which consisted of a scream from the bathroom fan anytime the light was on and if you wanna use any source of light you had to use the bathroom fan not pleasant. It was so unpleasant and loud that we moved the lamp from the living room to a plug-in in the bathroom. We attempted to say something to the front desk but there was never anyone in sight. One night we walked out to our car and found a man through the trash accompanied by a very polite cat when he saw us he started sprinting through the woods which was an alarming. I moved my car to the front of the building because I was not comfortable where I was parked and discovered an unattended suitcase in the rain I went inside to notify the front desk and again there was nobody to be found but there was a hand side with the phone number so I texted it with my safety concerns and responded who is this. I said a hotel guest he said OK and that was it. It left us feeling uneasy because there was no security to get into the building and then on top of that nobody in the lobby watching the door. And our final complaint was the elevator was working. At the end of the day it worked for what we needed to but we will not be returning
