Book Hakone Hot Springs hotels

Staff was very kind and respectful. The property was clean and organized. The onsen in the room was a wonderful addition to the stay. Overall was a 10/10 experience.

A Perfect Escape in Hakone – Highly Recommend! I had a wonderful stay at Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The facilities were top-notch—relaxing, clean, and thoughtfully designed to blend beautifully with the natural surroundings. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The room was absolutely stunning, with elegant decor and breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning my next visit. A truly memorable getaway!

Clean and hospitable hosts

This Classic and traditional Japanese resort was wonderful! We decided to splurge and booked w half board- the breakfast and Dinner - all very traditional Japanese food, tasty and beautifully presented. We reserved the Japanese style room and enjoyed the comfortable futon. The Ofuro was empty when we went so we really enjoyed the ofuro - make sure to check out both the 6th floor and 2nd floor ofuro (M/F switch times). It was so close to the hakone yumoto station where it was convenient as the starting point for area sightseeing. For arrival, we took a bus from Okayama JR station for ¥480 which dropped us off half a block away from this Ryokan. Would recommend this Ryokan.

Great location (right in front of the train station) and convenient for doing activities in and around Hakone. Onsen options were great as well; with resort style rooms.

My hotel room here had a gorgeous view of the trees and neighboring hotels. I loved having the privacy of an outdoor onsen bath for my room. The dinner buffet offered a wide selection of Japanese and western choices. Would recommend and stay again in the future!
