I stayed here for two nights after completing the Tokyo Marathon, I could not have chosen a better place to rest, recover and indulge myself. Logistics of getting Care from Tokyo via the romance car ti Hakone, then the opposite platform for the local train ..then 50 paces from the local train station to the hotel shuttle bus, which runs every 20 minutes Could not have been more convenient. The breakfast is out of this world with Weston and Japanese options and dinner was sublime.

Really nice spacious room we had. 2 twin beds. Slippers in the room was smelly so we didn’t use. I really like the fact they gave you the robes to wear! The lobby was beautiful. My favourite was the waterfall onsen at 5th floor! Must use first! They provide coverup robes for tattoos but they seem to run out of it quite fast. So grab one in advance once you’ve checked in. The stickers that they provided doesnt help if you have larger tattoos so I didn’t end up wearing any cover up’s on one of the days. Free icecream with token at front desk, included free breakfast from 6/7am to 10 or 11am? Go early before 8:30 if possible because they get really busy. Onsen inside the room was just a tub that you fill up with the onsen water. It was also really nice to use! Fits 2 people sitting up, or one person fully immersed. The only downside was the resort is abit further away from the main city so when it snowed badly, we had a lot of issues going in and out. So beware and be prepared for snow weather. You’ll just need to stay in! We had no choice but to head out because we paid for a food reso so we suffered trekking without proper jacket or snow gear. The bus was stuck, a lot of cars were stuck so we walked in the snow back at one point. They had a foot soak at lobby with a nice mountain view, enjoy icecream and coffee here or read a book. Family mart was in a nearby building that we walked to that had a connecting indoor passage so we didn’t have to step foot outside

Beautiful stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with top notch service. The onsen is incredible. The dinner was mid, at best. Not worth the money, in my opinion.

I highly recommend this hotel, the staffs are very nice and friendly. The view from my room and its own garden are both terrific. I also love both public and private hot spring options. The breakfast buffet is awesome that you can have both Japanese and western style food. The hotel also offer some activities you can register ahead of time. I hope the hotel can also let the guest to modify or add dinner through their website. Overall I had great experience during my stay!

This is a remarkable hotel! It was absolutely beautiful. We loved the Onsens and our room. The service was excellent and everyone was very helpful. The kids enjoyed the free ice cream.

Quite simply one of, if not the best hotel I have stayed at. Getting there was the only challenging part for me because I took the wrong bus. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus that in retrospect I should have taken advantage of. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to answer any questions and make my stay comfortable. The views from the lobby and my room were breathtaking. The room and bathroom were very spacious. I wish I stayed longer, but I only stayed one night and did not have enough time to take advantage of all the many hotel amenities. The onsen was fun and the breakfast buffet was incredible. Overall, it was an incredible experience highlighted by the hardworking and welcoming staff.
