Welcome to Castaways Condominiums—an updated, low-density 36-unit complex perfectly situated in the heart of Gulf Shores at 327 East Beach Blvd. Located directly on the beach, our third-floor condo offers incredible ocean views with the beach just a few steps beyond the pool.

We're only a quarter-mile from the main Gulf Shores intersection, meaning you’re within walking distance of restaurants, souvenir shops, and family-friendly favorites like *The Hangout*—known for its live music, outdoor dining, games, and entertainment. A short drive brings you to the zoo, amusement and water parks, OWA Theme Park, The Wharf, Gulf State Park, golf courses, deep sea fishing, movie theaters, and an outlet mall with over 100 stores.

Your private balcony will become your favorite spot—with a front-row seat to dolphins playing in the surf and sunsets over the Gulf. Whether sipping coffee or relaxing with a book, you’ll love the sound of the waves and the view of the pool below.

Inside, the open living area features a 55" Smart TV, DVD player, a sleeper sofa, and seating for gathering with family and friends. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed for home-cooked meals, along with a washer and dryer for added convenience.

The spacious master suite features two queen beds, an oceanfront window, 42" Smart TV, walk-in closet, private balcony access, and an updated bathroom. The second bedroom includes a king bed with a twin bunk above, a 32" Smart TV, and its own renovated bath. Each bedroom includes a private bathroom with a double vanity and generous storage.

Outside, enjoy the beachfront pool—partially shaded for comfort—plus sun loungers, shaded tables, and nearby charcoal grills. The beach offers rentals for chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, jet-skis, paddleboards, banana boats, and parasailing. The Alabama State Park is close by with a fishing pier and dining options, and across the street you'll find bike and scooter rentals.

For entertainment inside, each TV includes Netflix access. We’ve also stocked the unit with books, magazines, DVDs, and board games for your downtime.

Wonderful stay and great location

This is my second stay at this condo and I will definitely be back for the summer! I spent the weekend at this wonderful condo directly on the beach, and was able to walk to nearby restaurants and cute souvenir shops. I personally loved the Pink Pony Pub and The Hangout. There were also nice brunch places and coffee shops in walking distance. The condo itself is very clean and has many amenities. There are plenty of blankets and pillows, and the bedding is very comfortable. They provided more than enough kitchen supplies to cook with, and even had many seasonings to choose from. I enjoyed making a cup of coffee and sitting on the balcony with a great view in the morning. Toni was also very easy to communicate with. I am looking forward to returning to this beautiful condo.

Needs Updating and Told About Construction

The view from the condo was lovely. We enjoyed seeing pods of dolphins and gorgeous sunsets.However, the condo needs updating in the living room and kitchen. The sleeper sofa and chair in the living room were very uncomfortable, worn, and old. The kitchen is extremely small and narrow with peeling laminate countertops. There was a generous supply of utensils, appliances and cookware.The second bathroom had carpet, rather than tile by the sink. Not sure why same flooring for bath /toilet weren't used.The pool was advertised to be heated. The pool heater was not turned on until 2 days before we left in our 28 day stay. Very disappointing!When I contacted the owner about recliner, dogs in condo above us, and the construction/exterior painting, she was quick to respond. It would have been beneficial to know before we booked, that the building was under construction. We were subjected to daily noise of a hammer drill that reverberated throughout the entire building.

We stayed 4 nights. Location is great. Close to everything. Condo had everything you could need. Condo needs updating, furniture is old and not comfortable to relax on. Beds were not comfortable. Would be better if the master bedroom had a king size bed rather than 2 full/queen beds.

Perfectly located to all things

This was a cutely decorated, well located 2 bed 2 bath condominium. Wonderful proximity to the beach as well as a heated pool for when the ocean was rough or conditions prohibited going in. Equipped kitchen for eating any or all meals there with enough seating indoor or balcony (4pl). Also close walking distance to loads of restaurants and shops. Toni was gracious and good at getting back to all messages!

Family Spring Break Stay

We visited Gulf Shores with our 2 boys (7 and 10) and this was just perfect for us! I really appreciated how well stocked the condo was with stuff in the kitchen and games to play and much more. The location was great to walk to dinner, ice cream, and of course the beach! It was also wonderful to have a place with separate sleeping areas and bathrooms for us and the kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Time

This property is perfectly located. Ocean view is amazing plenty of seating on balcony. Lots and lots of appliance in kitchen. Has regular coffee pot and k cup coffee maker. The bathrooms are beautiful. The only negative comment I could say is the shelf in the freezer needs replaced and no ceiling fan in living room. A/C works great. I would highly recommend this place. One more feature for those who have children this condo has a glass screen door on the front door,the balcony can be closed in with shutters and has a ceiling fan on balcony. The property owner was nice and informative that is truly appreciated

Excellent Location

This property was perfect for our short Fall Break Getaway. Everything in the listing is accurate. We had everything we needed and then some. We allowed our sons to bring a friend and we had plenty of space for all of us. The location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to eat with the exception of our trip to Cobalts in Orange Beach. Don’t make a trip down here without eating there! My favorite space in the condo was the balcony!! From here you have beautiful sunrises, morning dolphin watching and nighttime naps in the breeze while listening to the waves. We will definitely be back. I will agree with everyone else about the parking lot. It’s tight but we were in a Yukon with a luggage rack on the back and we made it work! We would love to stay here again next year!
