Blah, overpriced , neede updating, sheets were thin and didn’t fit well, breakfast was not good. Brown o j. Cold coffee, no water pressure in the room sink. Very dissatisfied as choice hotels are always our go to.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. However, the room we were in was a non-smoking room, but it had a strong smell of cigarettes or pot smoke that was quite noticeable when we entered. I was okay with it, but I wanted the hotel to be aware of the smell before we occupied the room to avoid being charged a $150 cleaning fee. So, I picked up the room phone to call the front desk, but discovered that the phone didn’t work. I then used my cell phone to call the hotel, and they informed me that our room was adjacent to a smoking room, which explained the smell. Despite this issue, the hotel had some positive aspects. The towels and linens were new and looked very clean. The room was clean, and the maid service was satisfactory. The air conditioning was older and therefore noisy, but it kept the room comfortable. The breakfast served from 7 to 10 am was good but had limited options. There was cereal, fresh waffles, prepackaged sausage biscuits, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. In my opinion, the price for the room was high for the value we received. However, we were happy to have a room close to campus during Family Weekend at ECU. We had booked it months in advance and were told that we had gotten a really good rate.

Floor was unswept, caulking in the bathroom was really dirty, several places on the wall and bathroom door had what appeared to be mucous, blood or other body excretion. Door was hard to lock and was very loose. There was a large gap under the door too. Lots of age on this place, not a great area of town. Sorry I made the mistake and booked it. Ended up leaving after 10 minutes and found a room somewhere else.

Good and clean places to stay

Stay there for 2 nights and the place was nice and clean . The tv remote was hard to work but I got it work . The outside of the being is outdated , but you are close to many food places.

Horrible “breakfast” choices

Decent hotel, but the breakfast (if you can even call it that) was awful! Literally just waffles and two kinds of boring cereal. And the Waffle mix was empty when I got there, and it took the worker almost 20 min to fill it. So I had a nasty frozen sausage biscuit that was the only other solid food choice. There was yogurt, but a tiny cup. And the orange juice was awful. Horrible! And housekeeping comes around every morning by 9, I guess I won’t sleep in. There was no option to put a quiet sign on the door.

Nightmare!!!!!!

The rooms and beds were filthy. Old used bandaids in the bathroom sink, bed lines had recent stains and the hotel is old and smells.
