I was in Indianola Mississippi for a conference but didn’t find any hotels to my liking so I booked here even though it was 35 minutes farther from the conference. Checked in after conference at about 10:30 and the lady at front desk had an open beer by computer. I know it’s a small town but this isn’t expected at a nice hotel. I was displeased by my room not being tidy. The bathroom shower wasn’t clean and the soap dispensers weren’t filled. I even left wash cloth over faucet to see if she would come in and clean but she/he didn’t. I even checked out a day early loosing money but couldn’t stay another night. The hotel is beautiful. The staff needs to drink alcohol on their off days and housekeeping staff must clean showers.

Business but Pleasurable!

Although this was a business trip for me, I took some time to explore the surrounding areas. The hotel is located in distance to great food, shopping and entertainment. My room was very comfortable and suitable for the work I needed to do. It did not come with a microwave, but when I requested one it came immediately.

Stayed here for business. Phenomenal hotel. Love the idea of the card in elevator. Decor was beautiful. Also, had a restaurant on the first floor. Only negative was to pay that much with no microwave.

Our room was nice, neat, and clean, however our shower did not drain properly and subsequently flooded the entire bathroom and some of the room. Upon checkout I notified front desk, and the assistant on duty notified me that the person in charge was not on the property and that she could not help. She noted the incident in a notebook and stated that the property manager would reach out in a timely manner. I was never contacted by the property regarding the matter. This is my 5th or 6th stay at Cotton House and the first time this has happened. Even though my stay was for 1 night I would have like to have been accommodated in some sort of way whether it had just been correspondence from whomever in charge because I would hate for someone else to experience this issue if it hasn’t been fixed by now. My stay was on February 8,2025. It is February 24, 2025 as of this review.

Great Hotel - unlucky to have terrible weather

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. Our problem was that it was bitterly cold, and we could not change arrival dates. As the wind chill was low teens, we could not enjoy the area, and were forced to leave a day early.
