We checked in and the worker was very nice. The first room we were assigned had the chandelier hanging off one chain, the second room the ac wouldn't work and we could only get a little bit of air like it was a fan, the next room was the same with the ac (didn't fully move into it just checked the ac), then the 4th room did have ac. The breaker tripped when we used the microwave at the same time as the tv was on-so no more tv. All of the staff was very nice, the rooms looked very nice, but the room functioning was not the greatest.

It was a beautiful unique place. The animal park next to it was just the thing we needed to make our stay better. Brought our sister in law and brother the following weekend. They loved it too. Will definitely be back

Cozy Alpine-style Cottage

What a gem! As I searched for a place to stop on a long journey from Connecticut to Ohio, I discovered the Log Cabin Lodge & Suites, that offered Alpine Lodge style rooms on Hotels.com. I loved it so much that when I drove by again a few days later on the way home, I booked it again, this time the room with a Jacuzzi style bathtub inside the main room. All the walls and ceiling are covered in wood, the furniture is rustic and stylish at the same time, with all chairs, rocking chair, lamps made in wood, probably handmade, each one a little different. Fridge, microwave and electric fireplace are all nice complements for the stay. It's hard to find a cozier place, and affordable! Large free parking and WiFi add to the package, and the staff is extraordinarily friendly, especially Jody. Highly recommended!
