CHECK OUT SOME OTHER PLACE FIRST

BLACK MOLD IN HOT TUB AREA - NO SIGNS UP HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN THERE FOR AWHILE. The hotel is definitely in need of some TLC. Repairs/painting have been done but as touchups rather than good repairs. Room needed to be cleaner. We had three beds which was the only redeeming point in their favor. The mold is a huge health issue. There were lots of people staying so not sure if just our room but the mold issue is the common areas.

Incompetent front desk staff. Called my room in the middle of the night; left no message or gave any explanation. Then called my cell phone 30 minutes after check-out time (we checked out two hours early) with a ridiculous "oh sorry, I see your keys here, never mind" idiocy.

Conveniently located, but mold all over. Black mold in the jacuzzi, carpets are likely riddled with it since there is carpet outside covered in it and the indoor carpet marked my sons feet black. Bathroom fixtures look like someone's cousin was hired cheap to do a quick job, stuff falling off the walls. The breakfast was cereal with a shared gallon of milk, bread for toast and a pancake maker.

When I was looking to book, I specifically chose this hotel because it was advertised as family friendly with a crib in room. We were really relying on that advertised crib! When I spoke to the desk clerk he said that the property had never offered them in rooms. I gave average review because of this false advertisement and because the room also didn’t have hand soap or very clean floors in the room.

We only had to sleep a couple hrs there, the heating/air conditioner face was broken and laying on the floor. And the extra room had a space heater, which was odd. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom looked clean.

Where to start? The beds. The confirmed 2 queen beds were actually 2 full beds. Both white bedspreads had stains and their only purpose was to cover the blanket and sheet. They were so thin you could see the tv through them. The bottom sheet was flat not fitted so it did not stay in place throughout the night. In the bathroom, 2 of the bath towels were frayed and worn. There was no exhaust fan so we had to open the window in the 34° weather to air it out after our showers. There was a large round hole in the ceiling with an old empty light socket and the bathroom door was badly warped at the top and deteriorating at the bottom which was covered up with paint. Additionally, although it was in the 30s and 40s, the heater had not been turned on in anticipation of our arrival and the room took over 2 hours to warm up. The bathroom was only warm after our showers. Except for that time it was about 50°. As for breakfast, with only 2 small tables in a very small office and guests checking out, it was not conducive for eating. I believe cold cereal and pancakes were the options. The indoor jacuzzi had missing tiles, missing jets, a missing light fixture that left an exposed hole in the wall of the jacuzzi. The room smelled fishy like a lake and had black mold and large pieces of paint hanging from the ceiling.

TV did'nt work half the time (directtv is horrible when weather is bad) did not plow parking lot until late evening. I got sticktwice trying to park. The owner seemed not to care a bit!
