We enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the pool area… pro tip… get pool towels at the front and the towels are small. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. We stayed 3 nights. Outback is in walking distance but we did not dine there.

Overall I would say this was a nice place to stay. The hotel itself was easy to get to and the room we had was very comfortable. It would have been rated higher, but the staff at the front desk seemed a bit bored with her job. I was also somewhat surprised and put off when I checked out and was told that Expedia who I booked through would provide a final statement for my stay (this did not happen). The hotel was comfortable enough, but their front desk staff left a lot to be desired.

Good stay overall. Will stay there again without hesitation but there are pros and cons. Pros Next to Walmart (3minutes walk) Shampoo and shower gel dispenser instead of the little bottle (reducing plastic waste) Breakfast is pretty good, paper plate but plastic utensils. Cons Bedroom layout does not really make sense. Fridge and microwave are next to the bathroom door instead of by the cough area. Shower head put out little water, take a long time to get my hair shampoo washed out.

NEVER AGAIN

Check in service and manager was very rude and unprofessional. Charles at check in would not allow me to pay at the property with a different credit card. He said I had to use the card that was on file. I told him that card was no good at the time and had to pay with my other credit card. He said I had to call Hotels.com and change it through them because he could not do it. He canceled the hotels.com and made me pay full price of $245 instead of $153 through hotels.com Jessica the manager on site was very rude when I told her about the situation of the late check in incident and did said she couldn't do anything about it. Also there was No HOT WATER to take a shower that morning. Maintenance was very sorry for the problem but he said the water heater wasn't working. Needless to say I always have trouble with La Quinta when using hotels.com.

We were very disappointed with our stay at La Quinta. In their website, it listed that they had a full kitchen. Full kitchen usually means stove or oven and it had neither. My wife and I both reached out to the hotel staff as soon as we checked in and they said we would have to talk to management in the morning. We purchased groceries that had to be returned due to the lack of full kitchen. The trash cans were very small. The kitchen sink would not get hot so we had to wash items in the bathroom. The utensils had one spoon. We booked the room with another due to my wife and I having a newborn. My son and mother in law were supposed to be in a room next door but they were about 10 rooms away down the hall which upset my son. Originally they were on a different floor. When my wife and I spoke to the manager the next morning (Jessica) she continuously cut us off about what the problem was and said it was our own fault for checking in late (6pm) and a full kitchen not including a oven and stove. She was loud which others noticed in the breakfast area. She seemed completely unprofessional, rude, and unwilling to help us with the problems we had in the room. We actually called La Quinta to put in a formal complaint which I have never thought of doing before. The next morning we woke up and there was dog poop in the hall just outside our door. We were very disappointed with our stay. The rooms had potential to be nice. Neighborhood is noisy due to highway.
