When I got to the hotel room, I tried putting on the TV and I noticed that the remote had some buttons that weren’t working like the input trying to change the HDMI. I couldn’t go back on the channels. I couldn’t even put in the channel numbers and I called the staff to tell them that They were working and they were telling me that they specifically programmed a lot of the buttons out of the controller from working and specifically didn’t want any of the HDMI ports to be used so they program that out to and it was pretty frustrating because I brought my own smart device to put on Netflix on my three night stay so I wasn’t able to enjoy the TV. And then the shower was pretty weird too. A lot of the water kept falling outside the tub and getting onto the floor and the shower didn’t even have a shelf or anything to put my own shower supplies. And they didn’t have any water stations around the hotel just ice machines and vending machines but all of the vending machines had the water bottle sold out so it was hard to get water late at night and overall during the stay. I had to go all the way to the stores for it. And also the microwave didnt work in our hotel either.

1 Star Hotel with a lot of false advertising

This place was the worst hotel that we stayed at on our trip. The first room that we were given had a terrible smell and several stains on the comforter. We were given a different room. It was worse than the first. The AC was a roaring 94 decibels. The floor was visibly dirty and quickly turned our feet black. The door to the room would not close completely. The TV remote did not work. When I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night (awake until 5 am due to the Air Conditioning unit) I was bitten by a spider that actually chased me out of the bathroom. The closet is in the bathroom. The comforter has stains The pool had leaves and bugs floating in it. The pool area was so poorly lit that I could not see. This is not a Suite as advertised. I made the mistake of paying for the 2 nights at check in and had to forfeit $179 for the second night when we could not stay dues to extreme allergy issues by my youngest child and all of feeling sick the next morning. They refused to give me a refund for the unused night despite the illness we experienced.

While traveling from California to New Mexico we found ourselves needing an unplanned stay in Flagstaff. With limited funds a quick internet search lead us to the Aspen. Rating was high and prices were low. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of great parking. Provided needed amenities and local restaurant suggestions. Was perfect for our needs. We opted to stay another night on our way back through Flagstaff. Beautiful view.

Perfect hotel for a quick over night stay for our family. Rooms were great and the beds were comfy! The pool was nice! No breakfast but there is an ihop right down the road. Would stay here again!

Excellent Hotel. Will stay again

Stayed in the Executive Suite which was larger than expected. The location of the Suite was perfect. Front Desk and and parking are conveniently located. The room was quiet even though the train is constantly travelling very near the property. Only minor concerns. For a room that can sleep up to 4, only 2 towels were available for showering. The shower had a slow drip when off and the sink did drain slower than preferred.
