Great Hotel

Great service and facilty, but had this really bad sewage smell in the rooms. We had 2 rooms and bkth smelled bad. Overheard some other guests saying that their rooms smelled too and answer they got from front desk is that its normal. So didnt go to front desk with this. Butbother than that, great.

Average hotel, not ideal for dogs

First time staying here. Needed a dog friendly place. We got a double queen suite (all suites only on 4th floor apparently), so got to ride the elevator multiple times a day to let her out (not ideal, but not their fault). There is zero grass around, so walked to Best Western down the street where they had grass for dogs. We did longer walks along the river which was nice. NOTE: there is no mention of any pet fees when reserving online, but when you check in, you are made aware of this. $25 1st night, $40 for 2. Not cool that they hide that until check-in when they have you sign a pet waiver and charge separately. Location was great. Our suite was spacious, but very standard otherwise. Full kitchen with dishes was a plus. Queen beds were comfortable, but the pull out couch was awful (don't plan on an adult using this). Breakfast had options - powdered eggs and a few other hot items, everything else was prepackaged as expected. Just ok IMO. The indoor "pool" looked like a baby pool, it actually made me laugh. We went to visit Iron Mt Hot Springs (highly recommend) - if you buy tix online, get the discount at your hotel. They make no mention of this anywhere, you just have to know, I guess?? Disappointing. Found out at the hot springs, after buying 2 all day passes online. Would be nice if the hotel had it mentioned somewhere, or told you at check in. Overall an ok hotel, would stay elsewhere with a dog though next time.

OMGosh Perfect in so many ways. Perfect location for everything we did - Amtrak station, adventure mountain, hot springs, walking area. Not need to spend 300.00 a night for the Hotel Colorado when this is perfect. Breakfast was a WOW !!!!!

I struggled to write this review, not because of the staff, but because of the neighbors we had to endure. We stayed in Room 133, and unfortunately, the people next to us seemed to have no concern for their behavior, their children, or their pets. Noise was constant, with little regard for those around them. Their children ran around unsupervised, and their pets were just as disruptive. It was clear that respecting shared spaces wasn’t a priority for them. While the accommodations and staff were great, the experience was overshadowed by the lack of consideration from the neighboring guests. A little mindfulness from fellow visitors would have made for a much more enjoyable stay.

Busy place, many construction company trucks and trailers make parking tight. Entrances and stairways show lots of use but room was in relatively good shape. Dark carpet and wall color hides dirt but also makes interior dark. Mattresses were firm, a bit worn. Lighting in hallway was dim despite the many fixtures with harsh daylight bright LED bulbs. Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was more hearty than typical hotel fare, and the roasted jalapeños were a very nice surprise.
